HENNESSY V.S.O.P. COGNAC NEW DESIGN BOTTLE LAUNCH

If you don't already know... the Hennessy V.S.O.P. has a spanking new body! Sexy too! =P All the right curves with a reasonable explanation for the new curves!

I've never seen the first design but I definitely know the second design very well. I grew up looking at this odd shape bottles for many years wondering what was in it until I was old enough to steal a sip. Yea... I was one of those who would sneakily pour myself a cup of it at night when everyone else is asleep. Hehe! It's my midnight happy drink! 

I was recently at the launch of the new Hennessy V.S.O.P. bottle in which  I thought was a very classy and elegant event. They also had the designer of the new bottle, Mr. Chris Bangle present at the launch event. “Designing for Hennessy gave me the same sensations as working on designs for fast BMWs or a great Rolls Royce. It is that experience of a unique emotion,” said Chris Bangle.

The event went on to party mode after the official launch and we were all escorted to the Black room. In there, we had DJ Eva and DJ Reeve pumping the place with some hard stuff! It was a good night with Hennessy V.S.O.P. all night long and a great time catching up with everyone!

THAT NIGHT @ JOHNNIE WALKER JET BLACK SINGAPORE!

Last month, I had the privilege of attending the  JOHNNIE WALKER®  Jet Black Singapore! It was my second time at Jet Black! I enjoyed last year's Jet Black Race Party even though I barely knew anyone at the party. It's the company you keep with you that makes a party... a PARTY!!

The invites came in 4 days before the event and I was a happy camper! I actually jumped in excitement for 5 minutes when I saw the package on my work table! Hahaa! Yea, well work can be quite dull and quiet. =P Some fun helps make time @ work enjoyable!

We were actually picked up in a Mercedez-Benz at the lobby and driven up 2 floors up the car park area. From there, we just followed the music and got into an area decorated in full black and gold. I can't even tell if we were in still in the car park or somewhere in the building. LOL!

Andy Kho of andykho.com was also there officially to work though. =P This was just him taking a few minutes to fool around with the odd shaped ice! It was actually really hard to pick the ice! I think we dropped at least 3 of those on the floor that night!

Not forgetting seeing friends from KL in Singapore itself! Talk about partying up in Singapore when we always do back in KL. Different scene, same good company! =P Of course, not forgetting friends of mine who are in Singapore!

2 ex-uni mates and 1 fella with a beat up thumb! LOL! Funniest part is I probably have the nicest guy friends ever. They didn't even look or try to pick up any chick that night! They just drank and danced quietly with me at the table. =P

We went around playing with the photobooth! We did screw up a bit in the second picture... only because our group was a bit too big to fit! Hahaha! Picture perfect on the photobooth would have to be the one on the right with a  JOHNNIE WALKER®  Gold Label Reserve bottle!

Speaking of which... it was a pleasant surprise when they had lines of Johnnie Walker girls carrying lit up  JOHNNIE WALKER®  Gold Label Reserve to serve every table! Gold confetti went off and it was just a very GOLD celebration!

I'll tell you what else is gold. That GOLD LABEL RESERVE LOUNGE that was hidden right on the corner. I didn't even see it at first. I would think Sir Johnnie Walker would be so proud of such a lounge. A gold lounge fit for a KING! LOL!

We had DJ Crystal Q. and DJ Kaku from Taipei and DJ Cassidy from New York! They were all dressed very black and gold! Gotta love some of the remix on that night! We were pumping and people just danced!

Check out the lights! As Rihanna and Kanye West would put it.... "ALL OF THE LIGHTS!"

It was definitely a fun night. Best escape eva! Although, yes.. I was so dead tired the next day that 'Project Shopping' failed big time! I wish I had taken the noon flight out back to KL and just sleep! Hahaha! Crazy fast trip just to party like a rockstar, baby! =P But.....

As how Lewis Hamilton would put it, 

"WINNERS NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE"

and that is why... they say...

"KEEP WALKING"

Corset Me & Lovely Legs

Recently attended the launching of Corset Me & Lovely Legs which was held at Werner's, Changkat Bukit Bintang. I've always seen corsets in movies, like the old movies... the most memorable scene would be Kate Winslet as Rose in Titanic while the mum was trying to tie her in! The things we learn from movies. =P

For you boys who may not know what a corset is... a corset is a close-fitting piece of clothing that has been stiffened by various means in order to shape a woman's torso to conform to the fashionable silhouette of the time. Women used to only wear these under their dresses and also because back then dresses covered quite a big part of the human body. LOL! Corsets in these modern times are worn as an outer piece itself. 

Lovely Legs made their debut on the same night too! It is an online boutique that offers quality women's hosiery from around the world! Because these leggings are mostly right, you'll get em all at only one size! Almost free size! LOL! They've got large rance of stylish designs, including some unique one-of-a-kind pieces. 

We girls had lots of fun trying out the corsets & leggings during the launch! And not forgetting the small photoshoot booth with candies and funny accessories. LOL!

Even the guys gave the corsets a try!!  SEXAY!!!

SAVOUR ON SOME AUTHENTIC BAVARIAN CUISINE!

Recently, I made my way to Brotzeit Bier Bar & Restaurant @ Midvalley! It was actually my very first time there! I've heard many good remarks on the place and the food they serve but I've never had the chance of going there to eat. So, it was definitely a nice to finally check it out and see what all the rave is about! They got some new dishes by Chef Helmut of Brotzeit. So, we got to try em' new dishes! 

STARTERS

Feta Salad
Regular: RM38
Small: RM23

First, we had the Feta Salad which I absolutely love. Ok.. maybe cause I'm a sucker for veggies but I love the fresh feta cheese. Definitely, a good one for the cheese lovers! I like the sour cream too that gives the after kick taste!

Spinach Pizza RM30

Spinach Pizza.... right?? It's like say what?? It's not just spinach for sure. They've got salami in there too with feta and mozarella cheese! Thin crust, I LIKE! 

Bavarian Potato Dumpling & Spinach RM32

This was my favourite starter! I loved the finger shaped potato dumplings served with fresh spinach, mushrooms, semi-dried tomatoes, German hard cheese shavings & balsamic glace! The potato dumplings is potate mix with egg and corn flour! Amazing combo!! It can almost be my very own main dish! =P

MAIN

Cordon Bleu RM38

It's a very cheeeezy. Yes, I know what do you expect? It's Cordeon Bleu!! Melted cheese all around the pork stuffed with fine leg ham! Slap on some of that tangerine sauce on the side for a complimentary taste of cheese and citrus.

Rindersteak Grain Fed Striploin Steak RM52

Yea... no. #cheatmode. It's a steak! MEAT! I'm a meat lover! The steak was super tender and the light mushroom-peppercorn sauce taste was just enough to give the steak an extra yummy juice! LOL!

Schweinebraten Bavarian Roast Pork

You must try the creamy gravy that comes with this! I was hooked on it! I couldn't stop going in for more! It's pumpkin sauce! I never knew I loved pumpkin but this was amazing!! The roast pork was definitely nice!  You can't forget the greens, bacon wrap asparagus...

DESSERTS

White Crispy Chocolate Lava Cake RM20

I'm not really a dessert person. My idea of a damn good dessert is a plate full of fruits! =P hehehe! But anyhoo, I actually like this! It wasn't that sweet and I love the custard in the cake! <3

Apple Fritters 

This was super different though. Slices of green apple in fluffy dough, turned cinnamon sugar and served with vanilla ice cream! Now, this is one different fruit dessert. =P Cute dish. Cool em' hot hot with ice cream! =P

I enjoyed the meal very much and I'm sensing that my tummy wants me to go back there soon for Round 2! I'd want the Roast Pork & Sirloin Steak again!! OMG!! Kill my tummy.. it's growling mad! Do check out their NEW MENU!
