WHEN STRANGERS ENTER YOUR HOME & DRIVE YOU NUTS!

One not so ordinary afternoon at home in Kuching turned out to be one of the most reflective and awakening afternoon in years. A 14 year old girl managed to just made me boil beyond my normal temperament in less than 3 hours. 

I was once 14 years old. I was once a rebel. I was once a curious kid. I was once a kid who didn't care about anything much. But as of now, I have come to realize that I am beginning to care of all the things I used to not be bothered with when I was younger!

All the things that I never used to care about has suddenly become  more significant to me! Furnitures, the fridge, the car... the electricity usage, to say the least! And all this because a teenager, who was a total stranger was in the house and managed to bring me up to a boiling state of mind for not caring nor showing respect to other people's property! 

It astounds me that her parents did not teach her how to behave in people's home! 

• One does not go into people's home and starts opening the fridge for at least 10 times in less than 3 hours! 
• One does not dig out old photo albums in the house to look when not asked to! 
• One does not takes the house keys to let herself out, standing outside with the door wide open to welcome potential robbers! (a guy actually came at the door to ASK FOR MONEY! *creepy*)
• One does not THEN comes back in, locks the gate and toss the keys on the shoe cupboard! Disregarding the fact that the keys may just leave scratch marks! 

Oh, how vexing it is on my poor nerves! If you do not know how to behave like a proper guest in other people's home, it is very most likely that I shall never be able to welcome you back into my home. Since when simple thing like this would piss me off? I really don't know but I would think that I now have found a whole new meaning to appreciating your own home and showing respect to other people's home!

I definitely enjoyed the night of fun and games. The experience of mixing my own cocktail on stage and not knowing how it might taste was certainly intriguing! =P And to have different people mixing their own tower and we all got to try different mixes throughout the night!

NYE @ MYSTICAL EVE 2012!

How did you guys celebrate your NYE? I had a blast with my girls from Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers at The Mystical Eve 2012 @ Red Carpet Avenue, ENCORP Strand in Kota Damansara! Weeehhheee! Managed to avoid all the traffic jam and long night drive out into the city when The Strand was just 10 minutes drive away from my place!

We managed to grab dinner right together at the Wok Cafe located in the Strand itself too. We called it our LAST MEAL of 2011. LOL! Hahahaha! It was definitely a good last meal. Walked to the main area of the event and arrived at this scene!

Spectacular colours and crowd! Everyone was already hyped and ready to party! Among the lineup of performers were Mizz Nina, Joe Flizzow, Pop Shuvit, Reza Salleh, Najwa Mahiaddin, Dennis Lau and beat boxer, Shawn Lee, while Barsonic’s resident DJ, Davern Koh aka HypeEmBeats and Jee Hoe of DJ collective Melee Punks was spinning the night away! How can you not get up on your feet and jump with lineups like these?!

We also had the vivacious Julien Woon and sexy Megan Tan  hosting throughout the night!

It sure takes a lot of strength to make sure you dont slip off!

The night was definitely pumping and drinks were going nuts! We specially had Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve to celebrate the LAST NIGHT of 2011 and ushering in the NEW 2012! Nothing spells SPECIAL like the Gold Label Reserve and that was definitely a SPECIAL night!

Hennessy VSOP Privilege Collection NYX Launch

Remember I was talking about the Hennessy VSOP Privilege Collection NYX last week? I managed to attend the exclusive launch party last Thursday that was held in a secret location. Though, a lot of rumors went around saying it was at Vertigo. Turns out it was TRUE! 

The Hennessy V.S.O.P NYX Concept Space in Mid Valley (East Entrance Atrium) had very futuristic girls showcasing the platinum bottle. There were games available to win the bottle of Henessy V.S.O.P. NYX bottle! The highest score of the day wins! Was visiting the concept space to check out the bottle for myself! And I bumped into a few friends!

At about 9pm, we all moved up to Vertigo to find the whole place pitch-black with UV lights up in the ceiling and the purple dance floor at the DJ deck!

For the night, everyone was Michael Jackson! =P
We were given white hand gloves... you know why?? =P
(my guess.. to hold the cold glass of Hennessy NYX all night long!)
