NOKIA LUMIA 800 - THE AMAZING EVERYDAY

I'm am an avid fan of Blackberry Bold, if you have previously read about my obsession on it though I am currently punishing myself with an iPhone until January 2012. Yes, I can only get a Blackberry replacement next year. Just so that, I learn my lesson well.

Anyhoo, going off topic. You know how Blackberry, iPhones and recently Samsung has been the ultimately smartphone everyone hopes to have. I myself used to be a Nokia fan. My first handphone ever was a NOKIA 3310! It served me for 4 years! By the end of 4 years, I was taping its back with cellophane tape to keep it together! That was how much I loved my NOKIA. Used it til its very last breath.

I had always thought of NOKIA as the big player and I guess they needed a BIG COME BACK! How do you make a mark in the world and keep that dent in?

On Monday 28th November, Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows phone http://nokia.ly/uBVXxw brought deadmau5 and the world's most advanced 4D technology together and created an amazing free light show at Millbank Tower, London. 

Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 3D images onto the structure. Huge butterflies flew across the London skyline and the tower was twisted, pulsated and even fell down. Billed as the "future of live events" the spectacular show was accompanied by music from super producer deadmau5, who created exclusive remixes for the performance -- adding the 4th dimension.

Now, this is something worth to witness out in the open on the streets! You definitely can't go wrong with deadmau5 and London! I wanna big a part of something THIS LARGE A SCALE!!

Panasonic - True Beauty Launch!

What is 'True Beauty'? Mmmm, now that is something even I have trouble figuring out. I'm sure if any of us figures out the answer, life would be so much easier for us females, right? I guess for now, we can only interpret what true beauty means to each and every one of us. 

Panasonic Malaysia  has just launched a new campaign called 'True Beauty' showcasing their health & beauty products. It was a grand event held at Nero Room - Vertigo decorated with everything red in conjunction with the red theme of 'True Beauty'. 

The elegant launching was officiated by the Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia, Mr. Jeff Lee who praised women and their beauty in his welcoming speech. Among the many top management of Panasonic who attended was Chris Tomachi, Harry Sasaki and Matsuoka Kiyoshi.

With beautiful ladies hosting and gracing their appearance at the launch like Xandria Ooi and Miss Tourism International 2011, Nathalie Dekker, the official launch of Panasonic - True Beauty was certainly not short of true beauties strutting the floors that night.

Night of Glitz & Glam @ Passion for Fashion!

How times fly so fast! One month has passed since the glamorous night at Rootz, KL on the night of 'Passion for Fashion'! Hundreds of people pouring in way even before 9pm. That was just how enthusiastic everyone was for that one night at Passion for Fashion that only happens once a year! 

Great personalities were there to grace the night with the likes of Cassandra Patrick, Fay Hokulani, Dennis Lau, Leng Yein and many more! International models Kiri Hartig from the United States and Cay Kuijpers from the Philippines were emcee-ing the night away with hot hunks and babes strutting the runway with all that passion for fashion! Among the DJs that were featured was DJ Nikki, DJ Mysty & DJ Crystal Q from Taiwan. 

The night of style and sophistication went a note higher with the presence of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve! Now, that is what I call GOLD! LOL! The grand idea of Passion for Fashion was put together by actor/model/emcee Josiah Mizukami, who had a vision of creating an event where personalities to network and party in style! 

Everyone was partying hard and enjoying themselves networking throughout the night. This is will definitely not be the last instalment of Passion for Fashion, I'm sure! Looking forward to another great night of Passion for Fashion in the year 2012!

Allowing a man to marry 3 more times is just giving him the opportunity to CHEAT ON YOU LEGALLY, right in front of you! It means that you will not be able to say SHIT about it and SHUT UP because your LAW says it is legal and that you probably will receive a golden umbrella in Heaven! (yes, I do not know why you would need a golden umbrella in Heaven, when you reach up there... you should not even be bothered about material things!)

Imagine how a man would feel if the wife is allowed to marry more than one husband? [Oh no, wait. It's without question the stupidest idea, right? Because a woman will not be able to upkeep 4 husbands.] But imagine it! Would you men grant it? Would you have it that way? In actual fact, the mission of OWC is only just scratching on the surface and making it legal for them to talk about sex freely without having to fear speaking out of context. 

Instead of blaming on the wife that if she is not obedient, submissive and fulfilling desires more than a first-class prostitute, the husband will stray and look for sex elsewhere... maybe we should redirect the focus on the husbands!

I'd say GROW SOME LOYALTY BALLS before even thinking about getting married!

If you are lacking those balls, please continue on being single with no strings attached and have all the 'happy endings' you want. Let the women have their happily ever after with men who would cherish and love ONLY them!

The Kings & Queen of Comedy Asia (K&Q) is back! Bigger, bolder and funnier! With the best Asian comedy talents from around the world! I just attended the preview last night and it was highly entertaining and tickled every rib bone in me!

Though yes, I might have been choking on the smoke but  most choking was from the crazy witty jokes on stage! "Laughter is the best medicine", they always say. So if you are in need for a personal inner boost, this is the place to be at!

Food Review - The Hill, Damansara Heights

I have heard of this place called the Hill for the longest time. At least in the past 10 months! Everyone keeps talking about it and yet I have no idea where this Hill is. It was a pleasure to have been invited to finally taste the food at this famous place - The Hill!

The Hill is situated on a hill as the name says it all. More accurately, a hill on Damansara Heights. As far and as long as I have been in KL, all I hear about Damansara Heights is that it is a very expensive area to live in, a place of a certain class and taste. LOL!

It was a busy evening! Very pack for a Tuesday night! 

But anyhoo, I was very much excited upon arriving! We were blessed with a cool dry night. As you can see above, their have a very big portion set for al fresco dining.

Time to make you drool just a bit.. =P 

Soft Shell Crab Salad - RM18  |  Chilli Clams Full portion - RM28  |  Nachos - RM25

The soft shell crab salad was divine. Topped with wafu dressing, the soft shell crab melts in your mouth! The chili clams was a bit on the zesty side with all that chilli, tomatoes and cucumber mix! The nachos make great  snack dish with all that cheese on top!  

"Cheese Fire" Roll RM32 | Smoked Duck in Creamy Tomato RM30  | Signature Pan Fried Salmon RM38

The "Cheese Fire" has soft shell crab, cucumber, unagi stuffed into a roll topped with grilled cheese! You can imagine how all that feels in your mouth. All juicy and yummylicious, mouth watering rolls! Then here's another creamy rich dish, smoked duck with penne in creamy tomato sauce! Eat this while it's fresh out of the kitchen before it gets cold, dry and has an oddly rich taste! Trust me, you should on this!

Brontosaurus Beef Ribs with Wedges RM78 | The Green Monster RM28 | Aglio Olio RM48 (Spaghetti)

Somehow I find that a majority of my friends are crazy over pork ribs! I don't know why but it is like a highlight MUST-HAVE dish! The slightly spicy Brontosaurus Beef Ribs is limited to only 10 servings per night and the only way to make sure you get to sink your teeth into the ribs is to call and make a reservation for the Brontosaurus!

The Green Monster is actually a lamb burger with mint leaves giving the look and taste of GREEN! LOL! Loved the seafood aglio olio that comes that a huge tiger prawn!

Ok, here's the most expensive Milo Ais you'll ever have! LOL!  Milo Ais is a mix of milo with Kahlua and Rum! I actually love the taste! I'm not that big on Milo ais but this one is a must try! =P Hawai 5-0 is not your typical pineapple juice! It has a kick of Malibu and Rum! Be smart though, don't let the thorns prick you! Then of course, not forgetting the simple cocktail... Mojito, with some fresh mint leaves, caster sugar, lime juice & Sagatiba.

Feeling Disabled & Heartbroken

Naomi has officially lost her phone. She will not be contactable on her usual number or even through BBm. She is still keeping the faith that someone would charge the battery, see the 'if found' message on the keypad lock screen and contact her. Other than that, the phone is almost useless without the pin code. 

Best or maybe WORSE part is... she was so clever to set a pin code on her phone just this week with the 'if found' message. As if she predicted something like this may happen. Silly girl. Law of attraction. When you think too much about something, it comes true. The power of visualizing. 

Seemingly, Naomi is a big part clumsy and many parts careless. She has come to realize that when she lives alone and away from home, she can be quite disoriented. Being ultimately blur whenever she wants to, clumsy and carelessness is not something she should practice. LOL!

Anyway, if within a week... the phone is not back in the arms of Naomi. She will get back her usual number and life goes on as usual from there. Just a little bit disabled and heartbroken. And yes, while you may say.. "this is a good reason to buy a new phone." She would usually agree with you but she has only used this missing phone for 2 ++ months. Fairly new~ 

But yea, it is just a phone. Pray that it goes into good hands or if it has fallen into bad hands, I pray that the person would be happy and take good care of it. The phone deserves someone who would love it. =)
