Merry Christmas from KL

I know! I am late! I seem to be late for a lot of festive things. Time just zoom by so fast. Christmas went by just like that. I barely felt it this year which really does upset me. I was told that I am a workaholic. I basically worked through my holidays. OMG! But at least this Christmas, I get to play Santarina just without the costume! =P

and Yes! He is replacing me with the iPad! That girl is now sitting in my seat... Brrr.. Hahaha! This is what happens when you get your guy something he has been eyeing on for a few months.. Its like men eyeing a chick for hours, then when giving the chance... they go nuts over the chick!

Note to self: Do not pamper guy too much! Pamper self more! Well, I still have 11 days of Christmas. I should make the most of it. I still need to get a present for Secret Santa thing at work.

It is sorta the best yet tiring Christmas. =)
Time for me to enjoy my last day of holiday!

The Love of My Life!!

If you have been following my blog since donkey years ago, you would have come across this post before I'm in Love!! I have been a big fan of him for the longest time. Now, it comes down to ... would I invest that much to watch him live in person? But come to think of it, would I want to be squashed along with a million others watching him?

This sorta feels like the time when my sister told me that Pandas were arriving in Singapore. She was super excited that she will be able to see real Pandas! Then she asked me why am I not as excited as she was. The only thing that came to mind was... "I can't touch em'. It would be almost the same as watching Pandas on the TV. I can see them, I can hear them but I can't touch em."

I guess, same formulas is used in this matter. I can see him, I can hear him... is it not the same as watching a video clip of him in the comfort of my own home? Hard decisions...... Now do you think Mr. Buble would ever wanna meet me in person? =P I can always dream right? Hahahaha!!

Speaking of dreaming/wanting something... today it was announced that I won a pair of air tickets to Kota Kinabalu from iheartborneo.com! My initial plan was to win tickets to Kuching but at the back of my head, I wanted to see Kota Kinablu since I have never been there. Full intentions for the contest was for Kuching but it turns out, I got Kota Kinabalu instead! Coolness!

Lately, almost everything that I think of wanting comes to me. I think He must be listening to me a lot lately! I love Him! Your birthday is coming soon! Santa Claus may be the representative of Christmas but He is Christmas itself!

Ahhh... back to the topic! Michael Buble will be coming to town in March 2011!! Enrich/Grads Members has the privilege of buying the tickets first before it is open to the public! So, if you are a big fan of him.... quick!

If It Is On Facebook, It Must Be True

What has life and relationships come to? Do you literally believe in everything that you see or read on Facebook? I find that lately, everything we do is related to Facebook. Almost every conversation will lead to Facebook.

"Have you see John's pictures on Facebook??"

"Did you read John's status update??"

"OMG, you know... I saw on John's Facebook that.... "

Relationship status: Single/Married to/In a Relationship with...

John is now friends with Jenny and Josie.

Gossip magazines used to be the BIG thing. That is just because everyone is so bored with their own lives that they wanna see how others fail miserably at life too even if they do not know these celebrities personally! Only to make themselves feel better about their own life.

Facebook is great tool to reconnect and stay in touch with friends but as usual, all good things will eventually be abused by us humans kinda like how we are abusing Earth itself. Facebook has now evolved into a place where you go over and SPY on others to see how they are doing or STALK guys or chicks or even exes in hopes that maybe they are having a horrible time without you.

I have seen so many and hear couples quarrel over Facebook status updates or even just friend requests! Cases like these happen only of course with those super insecure partners who feels the need to control even their other half's Facebook.

Then, there are days when you read someone's Facebook status and get upset because somehow it offenses you or you feel like it is meant to be shot right at you. You get extremely agitated and starts feeling super duper defensive. Though sometimes, you just find it fun to poke at people whom you think deserves a confrontation but of course doing it straight to their face means they won't accept it. Hence, resorting to hints and as the saying goes... 'siapa makan cili merah, dia yang rasa pedas' in English it means, 'who ate the red chili, he'll feel its fury'.

So, you know when you have hit just the right spot, you get all sort of responses from even those you didn't intend for the message to get to. Sometimes, it is hilarious. But yea, EGO goes a long way in ruining a lot of relationships be it friendship or romantic relationship or even with your own family members! It is only because no one really likes to be confronted or be told to their face of their flaws or wrong doings.

Those who admit their flaws or wrong doings will be able to accept and appreciate the constructive criticism. For those who can't, they will forever be angry and break all ties with whoever who dropped the bomb on them. Not to mention, they will continue to be the person they are and still face the problems in future with whoever who tries to correct them.

Ok, I may be deviating far from topic but what I am just trying to say is..

Not everything you read on Facebook is true! Life is not all about Facebook! Creative editing on your Facebook with pretty pictures, extremely 'uuuwahhh' status updates and inflating the number of friends you have is just plain depressing. You may not even know who the crazy hell they are and just because it makes you seem popular its just plain ridiculous. Do you know how many strangers are reading and viewing your profile, criticizing and scrutinizing every detailed aspects of your life on Facebook?

Personal relationships has slowly depreciated to Facebook relationships. It seems everyone prefers or rather to just be on Facebook, reading and believing every single thing on it. I just think it is plain sad. I am using Facebook but I just find that if Facebook is the source of your arguments or the source of your unhappiness, I advise you to delete your account and not use it.

No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
Only you can make that difference for yourself.

Peter Pan The Musical @ Sunway Lagoon

Have you guys heard of Peter Pan the Musical? London West End Theatre are here to bring Peter Pan to life!! There are little pixie dust, pirates, and little ones! Peter Pan and Wendy are here too!! I recently attended the Gala Premier. It was a cold rainy night and the theme was Christmas. I had lots of fun with the feel of Christmas in the air. They had Christmas tunes played.

LeX Slide @ Empire Shopping Gallery

I was recently invited to have fun on the LeX Slide! It was a fun filled action pack event with its consumer campaign with the movie promo partnership with Disney's Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale. The event was a social media gathering at Lifestyle Electronics Experiential Centre (LeX).

The event highlights were:

1. The Longest Rapunzel Hair Challenge
Person who comes with the Loooongest hair (real/fake) will win the brand new edition of iPod Shuffle.


2. LeX Slide in 5 Challenge
5 person in a group to slide down and run up for 2 rounds in the fastest time slides home with RM500.



The Hair Challenge....

Upon arriving, I was told that there was a Rapunzel Hair Challenge. I totally left out that bit when I received the invitation. LoL! Real or fake.. the only thing I could think of was everything that I had on me. I sat at a corner and started tying everyting together. I started off with my earphones, my lanyard from my name tag at work, my shoe laces! They actually used a measuring tape to measure the whole thing!

I am pleased to report... I won the challenge! =P My longest HAIR ever. LoL! Walked home with an Ipod Shuffle.

The Slide Challenge...

There were some rules to adhere to. It was this huge 5 storey high, 50 metres long, indoor slide structure. Being the odd one out knowing not many of the bloggers, I teamed up with a group of enthusiastic, filled with energy pumping bloggers! They were great! I couldn't have asked for a better team! Go Utopia!! LoL!
