Itching Mad

I've been getting bites like crazy. All kind of bites! Mosquitoes, sand fly bites and some whatever idiotic bite! I've been scratching mad. Last night, I was scratching so badly in my sleep that I ended up crying. =( Can I hate my blood?? Can I stuff onions into my blood so that all the stupid insects don't come near me???

Insect repellents are rubbish. 10 hours protection my sweet ass! Bleh! I hate hate hate bites. My skin now looks quite bad as if I have some skin disease. At least, my work place is a freezer. I wear long sleeves, long pants and sometimes turtle necks! All covered up! Tutup aurat! LoL!

Imma kill all those dumb insects!!

Heart of Gratitude

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."

I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."

Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…
And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

Moving on

Its been nice here the past couple of months. Some good times, some down times. Though as of late, everything is picking up pace. How much more happiness can one ask for when its right in front of you? =)

2.5 months of trying out the whole 'live on your own away from home'. Living away from home is fine but its the friends and familiarity of places that got to me. Though am still getting used to having to make money and pay for my own shitz... LoL!

I miss monthly grocery shopping with mum. Didn't realize that I actually have lots of fun doing 4 hours grocery shopping with mum every month. LoL! Visiting IKEA almost every week. They are having awesome sale, man!

Am moving to the heart of the ciy on Tuesday. Starting my new job in the city centre on Monday. New place, totally new people. Fresh start. =) Its gonna be one busy life. One full time job and 3 other freelance stuff. LoL! Fun! Though, I am gonna miss this part of the city. I've gotten so used to this area that I can drive on my own out to places I need to go. Hehe!

I guess in the city all I have to do is walk. LoL! I'll be staying 10 mins walk away from work. Can't beat my last job though. I walk down the steps only to work with breakfast. LoL! Sorry I have not been updating much. Been pretty too busy lately. Most nights, I sleep cause of exhaustion not cause I just feel like it. But am doing fine with lots of people taking care of me. I feel quite very much loved here. Happiness~

Oh! Its damn nice to have people stand up for you when you don't even know you need it. I've met so many different type of people here that I'm so immuned. LoL! Anyways, must go. Have not ate dinner. Tired from all the work. Chaoz!

Turning 24

In less than 24 hours, I will be 24. What a difference a digit makes? Not much. Other than the fact that you're suppose to be more mature and wiser. More expectations too!! Honestly, I am gonna be 24 but I still feel pretty lost. Does not help that I actually made up my mind to move to KL to be more lost. Hahaha!

I know what I'm capable of but my only problem is where I truly wanna be. Part of me wants to see if I am capable of living on my own, away from home. Part of me just wants to be back home where I know what's where. I'm back in Kuching for the week to celebrate my birthday and I'll be returning back to KL on my birthday itself.

I've sorta gotten used to KL or rather I've found a new place to feel safe. Unfortunately, I will be out in the city after this. Starting new, yet again. I was told that a career is like a boyfriend. *Very 'helpful' especially when I don't have one! Haha! Anyway, I need to sleep before my best friend starts nagging me! NAnites!

Home

After two months being away, I'm here at LCCT waiting to board flight back to Kuching for a one week break and for my birthday! =) Hehe! Then I'm coming back to KL to start my new job in the city. How did 2 months being away felt like?

Funny thing is I was not home sick. I was just annoyed that I have no idea how to get around nor have the means to get out. LoL! Or the fact that everything is just so far from each other. Haha! Extremely different compared to Kuching. My first 2 weeks upon reaching KL, I spent most nights working since I didn't have much to do. Pretty depressing, yes. I was depressed cause all I ever did was work. LoL! There were days when I just don't feel like eating or waking up.

By the 3rd week, I started picking myself up and not work at night or weekends! Instead I started to just spends night going out to see places! =) With the help of all the awesome people who made time to show me around and make sure I eat! You know who you are! =) Thanks for being there!! Thanks for putting up with me crying and a big thank you to the person who made me put on weight! Haha! 2kg in 2 weeks! **Do you know for how many bloody years I've been trying to put on weight?? So many people have said they wanna try make me fat. After much effort, still nothing. LoL! I grew accustomed to work and stopped trying to cook. Haha!

I've got the world's best neighbour! Though he is now said to be my driver, husband, boyfriend, son... what else has people called him just because he takes good care of me? mmm... World's best neighbour is now my new best friend! =P Gotta love him lots!! Wish I could pack him into my luggage and bring him back to Kuching. That way I can at least repay him by showing him around and taking him out! One good deed deserves another! =)

There's the queue to board the plane. I have one question... Why do people wanna stand and queue up in a long line when your seat has already been assigned? Imma just sit here and chill la. I'm on my holiday, anyway. =)
