I have recently realized that I click only with a certain group of people and that I let out a weird vibe. Hahaha! A weird vibe that even my good friend can't explain because he can't feel it! Apparently, he's immune to my vibe. He says maybe it is just a vibe some people pick up. Ahhh!
Oh well. I am weird, anyway. Somehow being normal is something that is unattainable to me. But... what is normal to begin with? MMmmm... oh oh! Speaking of normality, why couldn't I have been weird with a special gift! LoL! Like the ability to read minds or have a photographic memory. That would be like being weird but with an edge. =P I'm just weird in a not so special way. Mmmmmm.... bleh..
On another note, a few people have asked me what I want for my birthday and I don't even have an idea of what I actually want. I guess I never really thought about it. I'm not 5 anymore. Santa Claus ain't coming. So, I don't make it a point to make a list of things I want. Maybe I should just sit down and think about what I want, huh? Somehow, I think its gonna be hard to think. *crazy person who does not know what she wants* Is it bad to not know what I want?
Normally, girls would dig the cute and pretty stuff. Anything shiny. LoL! Mmmmm... If I don't dig the cute and pretty stuff, does that make me even more weird? Gosh~! Nah... I still like pretty clothes and high heels. So, I am still very much a normal girl! Pheewww.. Glad I sort that out before I start doubting myself! Hahah!
Enough blabbing. I managed to get my schedule full this week. So clever me. LoL~ Everything started popping up here and there. Good la.. got stuff to do. =) Its funny how I never really use my planner during the semester but during the holidays instead. Haha! I think cause I can't keep track of my schedule during the holidays for fear of missing appointments and breaking promises. *that reminds me, I've got lots to do tomorrow* K, cut this short! Its too long by now, anyway! Tata!

Its So Over~
Written by yomi at 8:35 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2009After many weeks of agonising over the coming exams, finally it came and gone by. What's done is done. Its funny how I'm gonna start my holidays feeling weak. Been feeling weak since yesterday. Ugh~ Maybe just oddly tired. Oh well, after tomorrow.. I'm totally pushing my body to its limit! Gotta go for yet another surgery~ Sienz~
I so hope that since I've been through the whole ordeal, it should be easier to handle the second time round! It is seriously not fun to go to the general hospital 5 times in one month! Ugh~ But seriously, I think the hospital is the most happening place in Kuching. You can't find PARKING anywhere in the hospital area! It is just crazy! Cars double park everywhere! Sigh...
Holidays are here to stay. I guess I'm just gonna spend the first few days recuperating. After that, tend to all the super plans.. Hahaha! Lots to prepare for~ =P Someone just reminded me that my Singapore trip is actually so near! Haha! I haven't even think until so far. Now only think about next Saturday and my coming birthday!! Woohoo! Gonna party with my bff for the first time!! LoL! Lets see if its even 'painful' for him! Haha!

H1N1 @ Swinburne University??
Written by yomi at 12:44 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2009He said the student had been placed in the Sarawak General Hospital's (SGH) isolation ward in Kuching since last Sunday after developing fever on his return from Melbourne, Australia last Friday.
Dr Chan said there were 21 passengers who flew together with the student on flight MH2504 back to Kuching from Kuala Lumpur, after arriving from Melbourne on flight MH128.
He urged family members and friends who had been with the students since his return to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
He said other passengers who flew in together with the student would also be asked to self-quarantine themselves and advised to go to the nearest hospital should they develop any sign of flu or fever.
He said apart from SGH, treatment for such flu could be sought at the Sarawak Medical Centre in Samarahan and the divisional hospitals here, Sibu and Bintulu.
He added that the people in the state should not panic over the latest case and should instead cooperate with the health authority by taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
Stupid H1N1!! I'm flying off soon ooo!! I wanna go on holiday in peace la~~ Don't want to be super worried about getting H1N1. Ish~~

Once: Falling Slowly
Written by yomi at 9:24 AM Monday, June 22, 2009But if you ask me, the real deal starts with fascination. Haha! It has to be something that catches your attention. Something that keeps your eyes lock-in and when everything just connects, there's space for infinite possibilities! LoL!
My bff showed me a vid from 'So You Think You Can Dance' of Jonathan & Karla. The song that was playing was 'Falling Slowly'. I've been hook on that song all weekend! I was actually rocking to something more fun but suddenly this one pulled a string in me. Now inside so messed up. Dang~ LoL!
Have a listen. =)
Singers: Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova
Title: Falling Slowly
OST: Once
I don't know you but I want you, all the more for that
Words fall through me and always fool me and I can't react
And games that never amount to more than they're meant, will play themselves out
Take this sinking boat and point it home, we've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice, you'll make it now
Falling slowly, eyes that know me and I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me and I'm painted black
You have suffered enough and warred with yourself, it's time that you won

Big Difference....
Written by yomi at 7:07 PM Thursday, June 18, 2009Because now...
Its high time I determine wisely whom I'm actually comfortable being around with. LoL! Find shopping buddy, swimming buddy, drinking buddy, relak buddy... mmm... wonder if my bff would mind being the all-in-one buddy. Hahha!
Driving is tiring lar.... I realized it takes a lot of skills to be able to drive smoothly on a manual car. Apparently, I am always in a hurry.. I just wanna get to the destination. My 1st passenger was none other than ... my SISTER! LoL! My super VIP passenger! I macam itu Siti, taxi driver... pick her up, drop her off, bring her here, bring her there. Luckily, I no need to open door and close door for her! =P
Oh! oh! Hence, guys who actually step out of the car and walk to the other side to open the door for a girl is super people who should be given a salute! LoL! Kuching guys rarely do that. In my lifetime, I know of ONLY ONE GUY in Kuching, who without fail would always step out of the car, walk to the other side and open the car door for me everytime we meet. At least, he has his manners but.. sungguh the amat twisted punya character. LoL! Most common scenario in Kuching is the guy would only open car doors for the girl for maybe just about the first 5 times and after that... they get lazy. Haha! No more special treatment after that. LoL..
Even simple things like this is like only seen in movies. Hahha! Movies always over exaggerate everything. In real life, rarely got such thing one. All that lovey dovey thing? Rarely happens too. That romantic song you hear all of a sudden whenever the two main characters get together only happen in movies. There ain't no music playing out of no where in real life! Hahaa!
Though, there was once it sorta happened in a park far, far away near a hill. The building at the top suddenly played jazz songs really loudly that we could hear it all the way down at the park. Sounded so heavenly on a cold morning. LoL! Bleh.. reminiscing about the past! Wake up, wake up, yomi...
Anyway, back to the issue at hand. April was my 2nd victim. =P Bahaha! But I brought her to go swimming, so at least she can relax in the pool then panic in the car later. Hahaha! Malunya~!~! My driving.. eee.. my parking even more funny.. sienz.. I guess I still like being pampered and driven as compared to driving myself.

The Other Side II
Written by yomi at 12:40 AMAfter the pre-drink, we moved over to T1. The place with cages! Haha! Da playa had asked me to accompany him to meet his friends. I thought, ok.. maybe his guy friends, and he didn't want to show up alone. Turns out! It was a group of girls waiting for him! What the??? Why do you need a company when you are going to meet a whole group of girls?? Hahha!
The night started out slow but it quickly picked up pace after a few rounds. Meeting random people and just having random conversations! Haha! 2 hours after only then the real fun started for me. Haha! Blame it on alcohol giving people the extra confidence! LoL! Da playa really knows how to make FUN happen. Haha!

The Other Side
Written by yomi at 2:43 PM Saturday, June 06, 2009
I was dragged to the Breeze Kuching Launch Party by ah_mike. I had a hard time making a decision to go or not. For one, I had no idea what Breeze was about! Haha! I thought it was the detergent Breeze! *oops!*Blame it on my very un-updated brain with the on-goings around Kuching.
ah_mike just wanted me to get out of the house. LoL! So, yea ended up at Victoria Arms. Many unfamiliar faces but at least a few familiar ones. I guess the fun started after I accidentally won the bottle of whisky by spelling Glenmorangie backwards! Trust me! I will never ever forget how to spell the whisky! hahaha! I knew the name of the whisky because at the beginning of the event, I was just sitting quietly, minding my own business looking at the booklet of the sponsored whisky @ didn't have anything or anyone to talk to. I guess it does pay to be sitting down quietly, minding my own business. Hahaha!
Cyril had gone up to answer the question but he didn't know the name of the whisky. I remembered about the booklet so I thought of passing it to him but he went the opposite direction towards the bar instead. The DJ saw me with the booklet and pulled me to the centre! I was like.. "???" Then he asked me to spell the name of the whisky backwards in 10 seconds!! I was like.. "!!!" E-I-G-N-A-R-O-M-N-E-L-G! hAHA! Suddenly, he told the waiter to bring the bottle of whisky for me! I was like.. "woohoo! I get a bottle of whisky!" LoL!
That was totally unexpected and fun! Hahaa! So, I opened the bottle and we all shared it! Not strong enough eventhough I had it pure~ LoL! But what the heck, I won it! Its always nice to win stuff!

Friday, Never Hesitate...
Written by yomi at 1:51 PM Friday, June 05, 2009It is the weekend once more.
With each weekend, everything seems brighter and HOT! Haaha!
But at least, I'm smiling once more.
Finally, coming to my senses.
Next mission!
Going into war with the papers! 3 papers to fight for!
I can't wait for three weeks to go by.
After that, I am going to take a break from everything.
Scrapping away bits and pieces of history and keeping them away.
Make way for new history! wee~! =)

No Ordinary Morning
Written by yomi at 9:57 PM Wednesday, June 03, 2009All the people who meant something to me.
Everyone seems so far away.
Everyone seems so different now.
We've all been through so much.
We've all grown up.
We've all changed.
It has been so many years.
And yet there are many more years ahead.
There are so many of you that I miss.
Those days when our problems were so small.
The days I was the happiest with you guys.
I forgot what it was like to laugh all the time.
We laugh less as we get older, huh?
Its funny how when I look back on those years,
All I could think of are you guys.
If we all got together again, would it ever be the same again?
We shall one day find out! =)

He's Just Not That Into You
Written by yomi at 1:46 PM Tuesday, June 02, 2009
Its a good movie for girls~ =) Funniest part is that it was recommended to me by a guy! ugh!! At first, it was really confusing. Too many different main characters but after awhile you get the idea of who is who. They are all related somehow. The movie sets on each different person going through different stages of a relationship from trying to get into a relationship to being married and still not quite there yet.
It goes to show relationships are like an on-going work that never ends. Constant attention and effort is needed to make it work. Sounds exhausting, no? If ever a creep tells you that a relationship does not require that much work to WORK. RUN! Because I'd be damn, he'll RUN the moment the relationship goes into trial.
Here's the deal, we spend years finding the RIGHT ONE. After finding the right one, we spend several more years making sure that he or she is the right one. Maybe after all those years, that person may not be the right one. Then we have to go through the whole ordeal again back to square one. OR maybe that person turns out to be the right one. Then you get married and spend the rest of your life trying to make sure the whole thing works~
Does it not sound like we spend most of our time alive working? Work to get a job, work to put food on the table, work to make a relationship work, work to make ends meet, it is all work work work.... We work to reach the ultimate end, HAPPINESS.
So, don't ever waste your time on anyone who is just not into you. Unless by some miracle, he or she becomes the exception~ Don't bet too much on the miracle though or else you are just setting yourself up for disappointments. Maybe we just have to make the miracles ourselves. LoL~ I don't think I know what I'm saying anymore. BleH~
Please dispose after reading. Thank you! HAHA!
