what is the point?
Written by yomi at 10:06 PM Tuesday, September 30, 2008but when someone else asks for something, it is always a must to comply.
everyone only cares about their own feelings.
it is a selfish world.
i should learn to be selfish too.
it is after all a dog eat dog world.

internet apeks
Written by yomi at 9:22 PM Thursday, September 25, 2008when it comes to the internet and the older generations, you can actually divide them into 2 groups. there is those older generations who loves emails. forwarded emails the most! hhehe! i get those a lot. some from the people i care like my mum and some ladies around the world. cause even if it is just forwarded emails they do take the time to tick your name and thought of your reaction upon reading it. these older generations i'm ok with.
then there is another group older generations where they have nothing better to do. they think they know so much bout the internet. they kepo about everything. read blogs and report to everyone what they read as if they are stalkers. some are perverts. trust me. i've met pervertish apeks who wanna be friends with girls half their age. number one if they were ever so professional about being friends, it probably can work out. but when they forget how old they really are and start acting up as if they are what? in their early 20's? a bit too childish, no?i would call this group of older generations.. mmm... internet apeks. they sit in front of the computer all day trying to update their brain with nonsensical sites. reading up on blogs of people whom they don't really know and then try to make friends. going about telling so and so they know who and who. er.. just because you read a person's blog does not mean you know the person. LoL! trust me. totally two different person, k?? blogs are like a person's fictional life.
to anyone reading this post. if some internet apeks wanna be friends, be very wary. i went through it and i know what is the most likely outcome. because one thing.. internet apeks don't have better things to do but sit in front of the computers. so they are always out there to look for new 'friends'. internet apeks don't know how to work ethically either. they don't seem to know that what they say at work will not come around to bite them. one thing is for sure.. do not forget.. more than 1 witness can put a person down.

Save & Invest
Written by yomi at 7:11 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2008You know how it is now, yea? Economy going bad. Hey, even the price of GOLD dropped! That is how bad it is now. US$ dollars going up and down like Yo-yo. Australian dollars saw its worst days in 2 years some 2 weeks ago. Malaysia? Hehe.. unstable gov. Scary! Be afraid.. be very afraid. Time to fend for ourselves. Prevention is better than cure. Start saving every cent! For future emergencies!
Do you wanna save BIG on your broadband for a whole year? Imagine... FREE broadband for 12 months! That is not all! You get a new USB modem for FREE too!! There's a new website that lets us share tips on how to save and invest. The more you share, the more possibilities of you winning the FREE broadband and modem! Hop over to Save & Invest. Register and start sharing with other Malaysians on how to save $$$.
Here's 5 tips on how to save money... *my style* =P
1. Car PooL!
I know some friends who take turns to drive each other especially since they live in the same area. Its really nice and thoughtful of them. It creates a greater bond between friends, no? =P LoL! Saves petrol too!!! Petrol not cheap, hor!
2. Talk on certain days!
DiGi has it. Celcom Xpax has it. What do they have in common? Special rates for Sunday! Ok.. Celcom Xpax is now pushing on their free Sunday Calls, Hello Sunday while DiGi had FuYoh! since March. DiGi's FuYoh! charges only the first 3 mins from 12am-12noon on Sundays. So why talk for hours on other days when you can either talk for FREE? Or pay less??!!
3. Sleep Early, Wake up early!
Wanna save on electricity bills? Sleep early! That way, you don't need the lights to be up! Wake up early and use less electricity! Sides, its healthy to sleep early and wake up early. =P Good for the skin and eye bags too!
Why spend RM200 on one dress when you can have a few dresses?? The one thing I do when shopping for clothes.. touch material for quality, design and price come later. Go for cotton! Its the best thing ever! Sides, most of the time you are only paying for the brand name and not what the cloth is worth.
5. Budget holiday!
If you must treat yourself to a holiday, do it the budget way like me! All my trips to Singapore are super budget way. Use budget airline to Johor Bahru, use public bus to Singapore, use public MRT to get around! I actually save over RM300 by not flying direct to Singapore! I can do so much more with the RM300! Always be on a look out for promotional air fares. Plan and budget before your trips!
Share and enlighten yourself on how to save more MONey!
Don't copy mine har. =P hehe!

New Toy Part 2: My BabY!
Written by yomi at 1:28 AM Monday, September 22, 2008Finally got a replacement. Hehe! After some time of looking through all SE and NK phones. In the end, the one that still beats all the other models. The one phone I've been looking at since last year.
Got it at? Of course Saberkas. LoL! Its like the one place to get all electronics, computers and phones. One stop all IT stuff. HAha! And its the second hp my mum bought from Allied Marketing this month. We are like loyal customers. Mum has bought a total of 4 phones from them for the last 5 years. HAha! Cannot be 1 phone per year. I doubt it. Haha!
Anyway, lets take a look back to the first phone I ever had when I was 16. It was the Nokia 3210. That served me well for a few years. Then I bought the Nokia 7210 with my own money. I used that phone until I needed a salotape to secure the back cover. =P I make sure I fully utilize everything I own. Hehe!
My uncle saw my phone and directly brought me to get a new one while I was in Singapore. That was when I got my Philips 768. It was a very simple phone. One task phone. Forget about playing games and listening to music at the same time. LoL! It was a very unique phone. Everyone loved how shiny it was. But oh well, someone stole it from me last month. That idiot is a sucker! You can't find a charger in Kuching for it~!
I'm loving this phone. Serving me damn well. =) April... now I know why you always tell me to get this one. Hehe! Now we have same phone. Sorry, babe! But its really good. Wouldn't trade it for anything else. It may be bulky but.. this square man-ish thing is damn good. LoL! My baby is so cool. You should check out what else is inside. =P Hehe!
Gotta get back to making lunch. =P Sushi!!! WEeee~ Hehe. Tummy is still sensitive. The effects of eating just about anything. LoL! Except bitter gout and liver! Eeeek! The stupidest part about my tummy? I eat so much and yet, I dunno where my tummy put it. Haiz... Tummy tummy, where you put my food?

Mooncake Festival....
Written by yomi at 8:05 PM Monday, September 15, 2008My own celebration for Moon Cake Festival this year a bit different. LoL! Actually too different from usual. First off.. did anyone catch this in the International Times? The one in the blue costume is me. LoL! Something bout Moon Cake Festival Make Over Competition for the students of Maison Monica Salon De Beaute.
The theme for my dress is called, 'The Light of the Moon'. My dress was suppose to be like a lantern. We built it with lots of straws, ribbons and wires. The wires practically cut my legs. Didn't realize that we didn't secure the wires properly. Enny and Pei Pei even put lights into the bob of straws. So yea, I was wearing a? Lantern. LoL! Don't I look like a blue bird? Hey, even my shoes were modified. They put straws, ribbons and a butterfly so that it matches my lantern dress!!HAha! And those big black things on my head are rubber balls pinned to my hair. Freaking heavy, ok! LoL! That was in my hair for 7 hours. The first 3 hours was agony. Luckily, the next 4 hours was bearable.
The competition required all the students to have all their models made up and ready in 3 hours. Then we spent the next 2 hours waiting for the competition to start. The next 1 hour, walking on stage. Going in and out. Having panic moments where something goes terribly wrong like my 'hair' falling off my head. HAha! But.. my group WON! We won the 1st PRIZE!! WEee!! I was so happy but I had to still paste on a calm smile in front of the cameras and stand on the stage for freaking 10 minutes. To see all the judges down there watching all of us is scary!
As I am a banana, I had to ask someone to translate this whole page from the newspaper for me. LoL! I met some really cool girls too. A few were from St3, many years my junior! LoL! I could not sit for 4 hours after wearing the lantern dress. But the adrenaline rush was good when they announced us as the winner! LoL! I was not a let down. LoL!

Wnner & the 1st Runner Up..
