I read something interesting today. Apparently, I am a LEFT brained which says that my left brain is more dominant over my right brain. The article said that;
1. Visual learners feel most at ease and in control in situations requiring verbal ability, attention to detail, and in-depth, linear, analytical ability.
**Not sure bout that~ but I like talking =P I find that if I talk, people would understand me better..
2. Visual learners focus on information their eyes pick up when trying to learn new information.
**Correct!!! I always can remember how a page looks which has the answers I need but I don't remember the words! Only remember things like doodles, lines and stains on that particular page! Idiotic me~
3. Visual learners respond well to symbols, written words, images, diagrams, and photos. For this reason, they probably like to have a pen and paper around to take notes, to doodle in a meeting, or to try to synthesize other data.
** That is so true, people who know me well.. I must have pen and paper, doodling while talking is damn important for me! Almost for anything, I need to write.. always.. I realized it more cause people around always ask me the same question, "Need to write again ar?"
4. Visual learners remember by writing things down and communicate well in this mode.
**Yap, I always prefer to write things down. Even when someone new is introduced, I would actually ask the person to write his/her name on a paper. So I can see and pronounce the name right. I always write my own notes. A lecturer once said that my method of learning is old-fashioned. =| I only know that by writing my own notes in my own way, I understand more and remember better.
5. Able to understand patterns visually and in numbers.
**Kinda like patterns, how the patterns work, why something is like that or moves like that. Intriguing~ Love numbers.. any number.. trust me =P
6. Left brain also controls the right side of your body. If you are strongly left-brained, you will find that your natural tendency is to be right-handed — though with some skills, you may find that you are left-handed if a left-handed person taught you how to complete a certain task.
**Wrong! Me is left-handed! But not a full left-handed person. I use right hand for playing sports and carrying heavy things.
