V for Vendetta

Sunday, March 25, 2007

This movie was actually from a comic book series written by Alan Moore. V is a character in the movie. He wears a face mask, hand gloves and a black coat. Covered from head to toe. Even his hair is a wig and he carries a few daggers with him. He fights for freedom and vengeance against the present Government in London.

Deep inside, V is a romantic man. He loves watching Edmond Dantes and he loves Jazz!! Me want him!! Hahha~ Except tiny mini detail, he doesnt have a face nor eyes. Hm.... me scared~~ I knew every jazz track he played on his jukebox. Cool!
Evey, the girl in the character... She shaved her head! Some more look so pretty~ Imagine me with bald head?? On second thought, dont imagine me bald~! Can't be a good sight! =P Anyways, she becomes V's successor and she actually kissed his mask.

The Government should fear its people not the people fear the Government. If every single person in a country goes against the Government, they have no choice but to step down. But that is just not the case here, if you know what I mean.

Everytime someone voices out their opinions or the unfairness of certain rules or quotas especially when it comes from the minority race here, the person will probably end up in jail for a couple of months. That is how the Government here shut people up. Take Lim Kit Siang for example, how many times has he been in and out of the prison? He could easily break the Malaysia Book of Records for that.

Anyways, could someone be V and save us soon!!????

Ooohh I watched V in the cinema, and I could easily rate it much higher than the movies coming out at that time, Superman, X-men and da vinci code...
I recommend that movie to a few friends and it immediately became their favourites too !!

You only just watched it? I watched it in the cinema with the rest of the gang when it came out.

Awesome movie, awesome graphic novel. Gives you food for thought as well.

Love the beginning and the ending where destruction occurs to the tune of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. =D

And the part with all the 'v's in V's speech.

whole terrorist tactics V used to
blow up buildings!

I just love how V went against the
Government to wipe them out!!
