Getting Out

I suddenly just had the urge to get out after all this working and idiotic people that I have to put up with. Since my stupid shift was only 4 hours on Monday plus extra two days off, I had so much free time.

In the evening, Ronnie and Ivor came to pick me up and we met up Feli and Ben at Star Cineplex. We were going to watch 'The Pink Panther'. Its funny and nice. I know I screamed a lot not because it was scary but it was too ridiculous. Sorry to Feli, I know I did grabbed her hand. Hahaha... Please be warned that if you ever watch a movie with me, I may scream all of a sudden or grabbing your hand. Its kind of a reflex of mine.

After the movie we went to 'The Crib' in Travillion for supper.

My Future

Now is the time where most of us will be thinking about our future. Thinking where we should go, what we should take, what will guarantee a better future. To be honest, I don't like this type of thinking. Mainly, cause it requires making decision and I'm always afraid of making the wrong decisions.

On the matters of getting into University.... When you are not a genius or a geek, when you're not a great athelete and when you're not rich, you have super limited choices. You will have to plan everything around all that and hopefully find something which you think is the best for you and that could work for you.

Being an average student has its downfall. I guess I have no one to blame but myself. I just don't have that competitive edge in me to strive to be the best. Easily contented with what I have and not being choosy. The problem only starts when you have to compete with everyone in the country to get a place in University or everyone in another country.

Unlike people who can afford to go private and pay everything through their own pockets or rather their parents' pocket. These people are so lucky that they don't even have to worry like we do and its disappointing to see when some of these people are not even making the best of what they have. Happily worry-free people who don't even make an effort to study, thinking that their parents will always be there making money for them to spend.

I guess that's life. When you're rich, everything is on your side but when you're NOT rich, everything seems to be NOT on your side. That's when you start thinking that life is so unfair. HAhah.. Anyways, this is just some random ramblings. Nothing much.

A Night Out

After work, I went out with Jason them all this time including his cousin from Sydney, Rickman. The actual plan was suppose to go watch a movie but everything changed to them watching the earlier movie and meet up with me after I finish work but then it all got changed again to bowling. It was full so in the end they just stayed in Coffee Bean that is before they blacked out.

I met them around 9.50pm. I was thinking Coffee Bean was economizing on the electricity usage. The boys were sitting outside playing cards. I was surprised actually cause I thought it was not allowed to play cards in the public. Normally it is not allowed but they played it so open like it didn't bother anyone.

Then we started to move to go to Tao. It started raining. We all rushed to cross the road. Weird thing was I was leading. Everyone says I walk too fast. Its my normal pace though. I dislike taking slow walks unless the whole reason was to take a walk. I rather just get a destination as quick as possible.

I've never been to Tao. The place was quite full for aThursday night. The place was a lot like bing! except bing! looks western, Tao looks oriental. The business must be good since the place was pack. All nine of us had to squeeze and make the most out of the space we had.

Some of em' played with the deck of cards, while Milton, Jason, Rickman and I talked. I think I talk too much though. I should have like a pause session. I know that once I start talking, I can go on for a long time until my throat actually hurts. Combine it with laughters, my throat is sure to suffer. So the next time you see me talking a little too much and most of it nonsense, stop me. Hehehe...

1. What did you do for the last Valentine's?
I went around giving Famous Amos Cookies and Chocolates to friends around the school and even to teachers too. Heehe..

2. What are you planning to do for the next Valentine's (tomorrow)?

I've yet to find out. Hehehe!

3. What would be the ideal place to celebrate Valentine's?
At the beach, listening to the waves and having a glass of cocktail. Yummy~!

4. What qualities in a person would make an ideal Valentine's date for you?
Fun to be with, crazy, has a sense of humour, not so serious, understands sarcasms and yet still knows how to be a gentleman.

5. What gifts would you buy/have bought for your partner?
Hehhe.. Most of probably something they need like boxers or electronic stuff.

6. What gifts have you received/would like to receive from your partner?
Chocolates isn't my thing but if I do get one, I'll eat anyways. Heheh! Its the thought that counts. I would want something not too common.

Chap Goh Mei

Work was only until 6pm. My colleague curled all our hair. Staff of U2 all had curly hair that day. HAHA!! We call it U2 salon. Staff from G2000 also came to have their hair done. We actually had customers and managed to maintain sales.

After work, I went home and got ready for dinner at Chia Heng Restaurant. When we arrived, I was just coming up the stairs when suddenly my godmother called me and asked if we're coming. I told her I was here just that I couldn't see her. We finally hung up the phone when she saw me. Haha!

Adults sat in one table, teenagers and kids sat in another table. Good thing too but unfortunately I was seated in between two people whom I didn't know. My brother took the seat next to Caius and Alexius. Hrmp! Leaving me having to sit with people I didn't know. When I'm talking, I'm directing it towards the people sitting across me. Imagine how loud I have to be since it was a full house.

Then it got to a point where I just sat down and said to myself, "I'm bored". I started looking around the restaurant. Suddenly I thought I saw Jason's sister. I took a second look, it was her and the whole family. So I went over to the table and greeted Jason and shook hands with everyone at the table. What a coincidence.

Sat back down in my seat and just read Jason's message asking me to look at the table nearest to the entrance. A bit too late. Haha~ Anyways, waiting for the food was long. Everyone on the table had to introduce themselves. Caius' idea. Most of the time, Thuy and I would make sarcastic remarks about Caius. At least I have a partner in crime now.

Then food came. Yee Sang was the first. We all mixed and made a wish. Caius messed the whole place up. I only remembered to take like 3 pictures of the food. The rest I was too into eating it. Hehehe~! Caius had to finish most of the dishes since no one wanted to eat much.

After dinner, some of us went to their condiminium. Blur me didnt even took a picture of the exterior and interior of the condo since now that I have a camera temporarily that is. =( I should get one. Hehe!

At the condominium, we didn't do much except played cards in the room on the bed. Whenever Alex insults me, I would beat him up or pinch the mossi bite on his neck. His elbow even hit my jaw but revenge, his elbow hit the side of the wall which made his skin peeled. Oops! Ouch~! We played 'KATTE'. I would rather call it 'FLIP'. We managed to have a break session where we started taking pictures.

There were a few crazy pictures. Thuy wanted a picture of me and her. So we asked Alex and Caius to take. Caius freakingly focused on our boobs. Idiot. Thuy deleted that picture anyways. So I can't post it up. The picture taken of me and Caius, at first we were standing pretty decent and normal. Thuy told Caius to put his arms around me and he said, "Like this?" and put his arms around me and opened up his palm in front of my boobs. Idiot!! I was trying to put his hands away.

Then I took picture with Alex. At first it was a pal pal kinda way but we were trying not to laugh. I can't even remember what it was we were laughing at. Then we took a pretty nice and decent one, I guess. =P

Photo taking session over and we started our game again. Caius took my sis' cam and turned it on and then turn it off and then turn it on again. I asked him, "What are you trying to do?". He said, "I'm just wondering how long does the battery last". I had the cam cover in my hand and reflex I threw it at him aiming for his chest but it landed at his nuts.

Everyone saw and laughed hard. He started to sit properly and covered his legs. Thuy kept making fun of him and then he put a pillow on his lap for safety precautions. Just in case if there is another time. Hahaha..

We had a few more rounds and then at 11.45pm my mum wanted to go home. Alex won the last round and that was it. We went home but it was not like I could sleep. I had to type my mum's document.

Drenched Wet

Today, I managed to get off work to hang out with my godmother and godbrothers. The plan was to go swim in the morning and plan later what we would do the rest of the day. I got there around 9am. They only just woke up and they had to take turns to bath. Swim was cancelled.

It was 10.30am when we finally could go have breakfast. Caius brought his friend whom he calles 'Tweety Bird'. She's pretty and nice. She's a Vietnamese. They wanted her to try the food here. Auntie Diana gave her a 'Bak Chang' to try. She kept asking what it was. Caius said cat and dog meat. She took a bite and said, "Is it fish?" Her second guess was, "Tuna?". She finally said, "Pork".

Then we had Pok Piah and Kolo Mee plus Roti Kiap, which is Toasted Bread spread with Kaya. I was full but when you're out with these people, they just eat, eat and eat. After breakfast, we picked up Auntie Katherine and we drove to Muara Tebas which was close to Bako.

I found a lighter on the car seat and asked whose it was. Alex just took it. He kept playing with it and lit it in the car. As paranoid as he says I am, I just don't think it right to lit the lighter in a running car.

We arrived in Muara Tebas and guess what we did first. Eat! Lunch. We had about 6 dishes which included Oyster Egg and Midin! Yummy~!~! If only I know how to order food like that. After lunch, we went to a temple which had nice sceneries. Took a few pictures but it was noon time and the sun was right above us. It was freaking hot. We had to climb lots of stairs. I was drenched wet in sweat.

After the temple, we went to Bako. Got the permit which is RM1 per person and then took a 25 minutes boat ride to Bako. It was great. Bumpy but it not something I do everyday. When we reached Bako, it started to rain. Within minutes, everyone was drenched wet. We saw a wild boar and two monkeys. Tried taking pictures with the boar but it didn't like humans, I guess.

We had to stay at the cafe for the rain to stop. It was an hour wait. While we took the boat back it was raining. Auntie Kat was waiting for us at the drop-point since she chicken-ed out the last minute when we were getting into the boat.

It was already 4pm when we got back. We drove to the Market in Satok. On the way, Alex fell asleep and Tweety Bird fell asleep. At least I thought Alex was sleeping so I just poked his nose but he suddenly tickled me. Hrmp~! Plus he even made the comment that I was thin. At Satok we walked around for another hour. Alex covered and pulled back Tweety Bird's head while she was so into the necklace. He did the same to me when Caius thought I was bored. I would ahve bitten his fingers! Auntie Diana and Rosaline bought lots of fruits. At around 6.30pm, we went back to the condominium. We had to pick Caius' dad from the airport at 7.30pm.

We all dinner at the Topspot. It was about 6 dishes too. We went back to the condo at 9.30pm and waited for Terry to come while Caius tried to fix Terry's phone. If you asked me, I don't think he knows what he is doing. Hehehe~! When Terry came, we went to the cat at Padungan roundabout and took pictures. Tweety Bird wanted a picture with the cat. After that, we went to Wings of Coffee at Travillion and had 5 games of pool and drinks. My first game was great but that was it for me.

At 11.30pm, we went back to condo and played cards. They wanted to swim in the middle of the night but I think it was too late and I bet there is a closing time for the swimming pool anyways. At around 12.45am, Caius started sending us home. We sent Terry back first and then me. On the way to my house, there were two police petrol on the road. Freak! Lucky they didn't pull us over. Plus lucky Caius wasn't doing any crazy turns which would make the tyres squeal.

Tomorrow is Chap Goh Mei. I'm going out to have dinner with em' again tomorrow night. They really don't like the night life in Kuching. It is pretty boring. You either eat, drink and talk or catch a movie. There's like nothing much. I gotta go. I gotta wake up early for mass and work tomorrow.

World Is Spinning

Last week before the Euro Travelling Theme Park ended, I managed to go on two rides. The Destructor and Orbiter. Too bad, I didn't had no camera to take pictures of the rides. Entrance fee was RM3 per person. Each ride would cost you about RM6 which 3 tokens. The extreme ride cost RM12 which is 6 tokens per person.

Mike and I had planned to go for weeks but when the time came he hesitated since he rather to just relax and stayed home. Yeah, it was more comfortable staying at his place, believe me. But none the less, when we got there he had a change of heart. So we went in.

Walked around the whole place, choosing which ride we would get on. Our first choice was the Destructor. It spins fast, turns you upside down while spinning fast. It was freaking awesome to see the lights and the black sky. Damn all my blood was rushing to my head.

When we got off, I was feeling pretty alright so we decided to go on another ride. Since other rides looked pretty straight forward slow, we cut them out from the list. We were down to two rides to choose from Xenon or Orbiter. Xenon was simple spin at moderate speed. Orbiter was fast spinning but in small radius.

In the end, we chose the Orbiter. We got on and it started spinning slow then fast. It was freaking fast that your head also has to follow the spin cause if you try to hold your head straight, your neck would hurt. After the ride, my head was spinning. My first few steps were unstable. Freaking spin.

We were watching the extreme huge ride which cost RM12. Suddenly, I heard someone said my name. So I turned. It was Ah Peng, the guy who permed my hair about 2 years ago. His friends were getting on that ride. So we stayed to watch.

We left the place at around 11pm. Mike had to drive me home. If I had to drive, I don't think I could have manage. My body was aching all over and my head was not right not mention the food in my stomach didn't feel like it settled in properly.

Expensive, mind-numbing rides. The lights was great though like a big fun fair.
