Scout Nite & Mike's Birthday

Sunday, February 20, 2005
Happy Birthday, Mike!!

Hazwan was so nice to give me a lift to Kuching Park hotel yesterday. He came at 5pm wearing pretty smart and we went to get a birthday cake for Mike. We went to pick up Bernard who came out in peach collar shirt with white pants. We waited for him for about 10 minutes. He is so cute!! He took out two ties, one green and one purple and asked us which one he should wear. So we picked out purple for him. His colour combination sure is funny!!
We were the first to arrive. So we checked out everything even the VCD player and sound system. Hazwan put on his coat and I tied his tie for him!! Yay!! First time in history I tied a tie which looks good on a guy! I shall have more practices to perfect it. Heheeh.. :p
Bernard did some last minute checking and Hazwan was having fun with the microphone. Terry and Ronnie came after that and Hazwan was having fun looking at Terry's karaoke cd and both of em' were singing away. Ronnie had to prepare his speech since he was the MC. People started pouring in. On the ticket it was printed semi-formal. Most of the other people came in very casual clothes. T-shirt and jeans while guys from our school wore batik shirt and the girls wore nice dress. (eg. JoJee dress is so cool and Ratchell's dress looks so cute) Most of us felt weird as we looked overdressed while they looked underdressed.
Then busy, busy, busy. Though I wasn't the one busy cause I was not one of the organizing committee. So boring~ I sat there watching everyone else so busy. Dinner was buffet style. We had to queue up for our food. Long queue. By the time I got the food there was barely anything left and standing behind Kevin Sia and Nurul Ambia. Those two have lots to say. When I got my table I saw that the guys scooped so much of the food on plates for eveyone to eat. No wonder there was barely anything left.
We all ate. The food was not that appetizing anyways. We had karaoke competition and some trivia questions. Did not participate in either one. Was really bored. Students from other school mainly spoke in Mandarin and most of them were getting drunk from drinking beer. They were practically shouting at each other. One reason why I don't hang out with Mandarin speaking people. They are loud and I can't understand them plus they always call me 'Cina Sesat'. Anyways, Bertram got me a mug of beer. Small amount of alcohol can't kill anyone. =P At around 9.30 pm Mike came after his family dinner celebrating his birthday.
The dinner ended one hour earlier than expected. When people started leaving, Bernard took the cake I bought earlier from the waiter and I litted up the candles. Julian helped me look around and check. The waiter was nice enough to off the lights and as I walked in with the cake everyone else was singing 'Happy Birthday'. Mike blew off the candles and cut the cake. Lucky there were clean plates around. So I started cutting the cake. The first slice was suppose to be for Mike but clumsy me, the cake fell and Mike caught the cake with both hands. The icing and all got on his hand. Everyone was laughing and someone rubbed icing on his face. They are so mean! Haha.. but it was funny though.
I felt so bad dropping that piece of cake and yet Mike still ate that cake. Julian scolded him for catching the cake with his hands and Mike scolded him back "Why would I want to waste the cake she bought for me?" Actually I wouldn't mind if he didn't catch it though. It was my own fault anyways. =(
After that I cut up the cake for everyone from St Joseph. Did I mention that it was a blueberry chocolate cake? Filled icing on the outside. We hung out for about an hour more until everyone went home and then Mike sent me home. New car, Nissan Frontier. Its so huge. Like a little kid, I opened each compartment, checking out every each of the car. =P
We were thinking of anywhere else to go. My night life sucks as I'm not the frequent clubbers. So I don't really know where to go. Should have gone to open-air at Elektra House. Can eat beef noodle and drink nice drinks plus eat 'SIO BEE!!!'. All my favourite food is there!! Why didn't I think of it?? Hai~ So Mike drove round and round my neighbourhood. Looking at huge, huge houses outside and he wanted to know which one is Feli's house. Most of the houses comes with a story. I knew most of the stories. So I told him stories on the owners of the houses or the ground of the houses.
The car is too big for me. I wouldn't even dare to drive it if he let me. I don't have the guts to drive it but I do want to know how its like to drive a huge car. =P I got home at 1am. Late. Lucky my dad was not home and my mum was sleeping. My mum must have been too tired from the MAS Travel Fair.
Weird enough I wasn't sleepy so I just stay in bed, shaking my foot and smsing. =P After awhile my dad came home and I'm guessing he made my brother to go up and sleep. That meant that the computer was free. Yay!! So I went down and went online. Constantine was online! See I have friend name Constantine. So cool, hoh?? So we chat til the early morning. I finally went to bed at 5.30am. Crazy~ Hehee.. At least not til 6.30am when the sun comes up. Haha..
I guess I shall stop here for today. I need to do my homework and do some studying. Good Luck to Anna for your finals and good luck to me for another week of torturous stress. Bye bye, Take care.
Love,
yomI

The Weekend Is Here!

Saturday, February 19, 2005
After a long week of suffering finally the weekend is here!!~!! I had only 3 hours sleep today plus aching all over. Feeling damn not well with sore throat. Went to school. Haziq and Leomard helped to take out newspapers from the car for the recycling project. Luckily, I bumped into Jason. He dropped his bag in the clinic before going to duty and I dropped my paper bag of clothes in the clinic too. Made things easier for me too. Wouldn't have to run around looking for car keys. After that I went for duty. We had a prefect briefing after morning duty. During briefing, Jason gave me a box of strepsils for my sore throat. How nice~
I only found out that I had to stay back at 2.30pm the very same day for another round of MSSM registration. This time only the heads are required. No one informed me about it the day before. Hrmp.. In the end, I managed to ask a groupmate of mine to cover for me. He is so nice~ Everyone is so nice one~ :p
Study~ Boring~ Today had to stay back til 1pm for extra chemistry class. Pn. June always loves to give extra class. Though I don't love going for em'. It was torturous. After chemistry class, I walked up to Sarawak Club. My mum told me to go 'play' there while waiting for her to pick me up.
Met Jason there and we had lunch together. While waiting for the food, I made a quick stop to the bathroom for a bath. Real quick! Damn quick actually but my food arrived earlier. Ate my lunch feeling squeeky clean, heheh.. *hint hint* Not sticky, sweaty like my friend, Jason. Hehe..
We talked and then moved to the TV room hoping to enjoy some air-cond but the air-cond was not working. :( We stayed inside anyways cause we won't be able to talk in the library. I realized one thing, watch normal channels on TV in the afternoon. You get to watch Thai, Mandarin, and Spanish soap opera in one afternoon. One after another.
Jason and I talked and kept talking. He went crazy a few times add that with me some more. So: Crazy x Crazy = Crazy^2. Plus he is so mean! ~Slap!~ I'll leave it at that. He even lied down on the chair. The chair must be so dirty. Don't know how many people sat there before. At around 4.30pm, we moved to the library as it was getting crazy hot in there. I was reading the 'Women's Weekly' magazine and Jason came to join me too. We looked at pretty women. I went to look for a dictionary while Jason got himself a book called "Chronicles of The World War II''. i wanted to check on the spelling of a few words and Jason took over the dictionary looking for some of the words that he finds amusing~
Went out to the entrance to wait for my mum to come at 5.30pm but it turns out that Jason's mum came at 6.20pm and my mum still hasn't come. I waited a while longer and finally my mum came. Home TIME~
I guess that's all for now..

A week of Pain and Suffering

Friday, February 18, 2005
I really mean suffering when I said suffering. Monday night was hell for me til 4.30am. That was the time I only managed to finish typing all the documents for my mum. Its horrible to not be able to sleep. I was crazy shaking my legs trying to stay awake to type. I can't complain either my brother gave up on helping and there's only me left to help. That mean boy~
Anyways, I only had barely an hour sleep and I went to school feeling horrible!! I didn't think my two feet would be able to hold my body. I was a walking zombie. I barely looked at the people around although I was looking straight while walking. Morning duty was horrible. I was thinking I would faint. I had to put my hand on something to balance myself. Brendan saw right through that I didn't get enough sleep. Mike was asking me to sleep in class though I don't actually have any class on that day.
Anyways, my mum couldn't scold me in the morning for not being able to wake up. Actually she told me to stay home but I told her I needed to go school for I was put as the leader for my group for the MSSM registration. It would not be nice to not come and let the rest do all the work. So my mum gave me a bottle of Chicken, Brand's of Essence. Its a very good drink cause after taking it I felt much better but only a duration of 2 hours. After that I was back to feeling like crap.
Checking faces, IC number and events. May seem like a pretty easy job but when you have more than one at a time. Make that students from over 40 schools. So it was pain to my head too. Most of the students from other classes were going to a motivation talk in the audtitorium while our class had to work. Talk about Free Labor but at least they provided us with meals. I was walking around taking a break when suddenly I saw the clinic open. Dean, Milton and another guy (I can't spell his name!) was inside and they said I could sleep if I wanted to. So I did try sleeping but with these 3 talking so much. Can't sleep. So I ended up talking to them too. Crazy bunch of people too. The exact breed like Jason but luckily they are not at his level. I wouldn't be able to fight back if they were more than one person like Jason.
They fed me with some 'sweet' which is actually medicine. Although it did taste sweet. After that, they 'bully' me! They are so mean! They made up some crazy story! See how I get stuck being 'bullied' by people younger than me? Haha.. You know why? Cause, I'm too nice right? Haha.. After they finish having fun 'bullying' me, I left and returned to the AVA. Back to work. Half an hour after that, it was lunch time. We went downstairs and had our lunch. Free MEAL! Work, work, work.
Did I mention that Brendan Chin and Ian was also in the AVA room the whole day. They were helping out with the laptop. A few of us manage to watch Full Metal Panic which is so hentai!! These boys really la. I was there doing some censorship, covering the screen but it didn't work. Too many scenes. Most of the guys were laughing. Jason came in after his biology to 'help out'. Yeah, man help out. He was at the back watching Naruto too. There were a lot of interruption though while watching the anime. Had to go work and Ian had to type stuff into the laptop. I fell asleep the last half an hour at the back while they were watching Naruto. I was waiting for them to put Naruto back on but while waiting I fell asleep. Was too damn tired, I guess. It was noisy though but I still managed to sleep.
I woke up to Jason saying 'Siaw Jei, ki lai liaw" after he was blowing into my ear!! He is really asking for it! Some more he used a sweet wrapper and crumpled it at my ear!! WAH!! He makes my high blood pressure increase by two folds. I pretended to sleep, hoping the next time to catch his hand and beat him up which I finally did because he repeated what he did. As I was saying, he was asking for it. See I told you he has a few loose screws in his head. Lucky, there's only one of him.
After that go home time though I had to stay back to wait for my mum. So I walked around the school. The guys were getting ready to play football. So I hung out with them for awhile. I even brought my PA book with me. I watched them play for awhile and then I had to go home. The moment I got home, I ate my dinner and took my bath. With my head wet, I fell asleep on the bed. Horrible!!
9 hours sleep. Still it didn't add up. I was still lacking of 10 hours sleep. Went to school Wednesday morning. Feeling much better. Had another episode of a head popping up at the toilet window calling out my name. Scary~ Mr Constantine was standing there~ He's the only one who is able to do that since he has the height. *tai hen des!*
School was pain!~! This morning we had assembly. 7.10am the bell rang, I was asking a few form 4 boys to go into the stadium and one 'smart stupid' boy shouted back at me asking "What do you want?" So I raised my eyebrow and said "Finish you food and go into the stadium." He shouted again saying "What do I care?" So I stare at him looking for his name tag. Stupid, he wasn't wearing one. So I asked him where his name tag was and he shouted at me "Apa, mauk tau nama aku kah?" What an ars. I really wanted to punch him or slap him at least. I told Mike and he walked towards them. By the time he got there the boys ran off. Argh!! I wanna beat them up myself!! Physics test on Thursday was terribly terrible. I could remember only part of a few answers which isn't gonna get me any marks. PA test, I mixed up the Dewan Negara and Dewan Rakyat!! Argh~!! No more test this week but the homeworks sure packs up a lot towards the weekends. Hrmp!
I didn't have anything going on today in the afternoon and I spent the whole afternoon sleeping. Finally, I am able to get some sleep!! Someone called my house phone and my brother passed me the phone but I couldn't remember who or what the person was asking when I woke up.
I guess that's all for now. I'll return soon with more for you guys to read.
Love always,
yomI

Happy Valentine's Day!

Tuesday, February 15, 2005
A day filled with love in the air. I've always wondered what it would be like for the guys in St Joseph when it comes to Valentine's Day. From my observation, it was a pretty normal day with exception to a few guys who received presents from members of Interact or Leo Club.
I didn't have much sleep today. I think I only managed to sleep at around 3am. I had problem waking up too. My mum had to scream at me. The moment she screamed, I sat right up. Good way to wake me up. Haahha.. Anyways, I want a RED BULL!! No wait, let me correct that. I NEED A RED BULL OR TONGKAT ALI!!
The first person I met when I got to school was Brendan. Phew.. Lucky I didn't have to walk around the whole school looking for him. I know how fast he walks and how he never stays put at one place. Busy, busy guy. I had to pass him a box. Someone's valentine's day present. I wish it was mine but too bad not my favourite.
I'll just summarise everything to make this post a little shorter than my usual long post. I brought famous amos cookies and cadbury hazelnut chocolate for everyone who are close to me. Special friends I would call em'. Hehe.. I think everyone enjoyed the little treat. A small little Valentine's Day present for everyone.
Bernard brought cheese pie and blueberry cheese cake with chocolate topping for me. Such a sweet boy!!!! Argh... he was showing off that he can bake cakes. Yeah.. that makes me look so bad. Don't like him. Ratchell and I asked him to bake some more, he didn't want to. His cheese cake tasted like heaven!! It was total satisfactory!!
I really need to end this here. I've come to a point where my mood for blogging flew out the window and if I'm lucky I would be able to go online tomorrow. If not, I will really wanna kill the guy who sent me the stupid virus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Houses & Constantine

Sunday, February 13, 2005
I had so much fun today. Too much fun to be exact. After this I must not indulge myself in such 'fun-ness'. Hahaha.. Must study, must study~ I was awake by 9 something this morning. Didn't do much in the morning. Only during lunch that I had something to eat and my phone was ringing every few minutes. I think my mum learnt a lot from me about being sarcastic. Lately she's been using it on me~ Doesn't hurt much when she's being sarcastic but I'm not used to it that I'm not the one using it. Hahaha..
Anyways, half way through my lunch Soffian, Joel and Hazwan came. I quickly finish my lunch and went to sit with them. After a few minutes, we started gambling. We only had a few rounds though. Too bad. We were just about having fun when they all decided to pull out. Hm.. :(
1st house of the day --> Feli's house
Joel and Soffian wanted to follow Hazwan and I visiting today though it was a little burden to me and my plans. Feli's house was the closest to mine so we started from there. Feli was home with her grandmother. I finally paid a visit to her after so many days of meeting her to go out visiting. We all sat and talked plus it seems that Feli's cat likes Hazwan. Of course she likes Hazwan and not like me. She's a she. Hehehe...
2nd house --> Jon Wong's house
After Feli's place we went to Jon's house which was also somewhere around the area. It was 4pm by then and I realized that with the number of houses we had left we will have to make our visits to each house short. We stayed there for roughly half an hour eating, drinking and looking at photo album. When we were about to leave, Jon's mum asked us to pick the ang pao hanging on the tree. I was thinking those ang paos were only for decoration. I guess literally it is called a money tree now. His mum said that the amount of money in each ang pao are not the same. So if you're lucky, you would get a bigger amount. Cool way of giving ang pao!~!
3rd house --> Anna's house
We left Jon's house at 4.25pm and we set a time to get to Anna's house. Hazwan zoomed all the way to Anna's house but minus a few times when there were cars moving so slow. Hazwan was rushing to reach Anna's house at 4.30pm. The moment Hazwan turned into Anna's house that was when his clock time changed from 4.29pm to 4.30pm. Yay!! Hazwan managed to reach Anna's house at the time expected.
In Anna's house she had her aunties and uncles around. If I'm not mistaken Jessie and Joel are her cousins? Jessie is a few months old while Joel is 2 years old. Joel was very quiet and not naughty at all. I played with Jessie for awhile and suddenly she cried. I felt so bad but it turns out that Jessie was crying because she um.. made 'business'. Phew~ *wiping off sweat from my forehead*
Little Joel was sitting next to Anna and according to Joel Chung, Little Joel was looking at me. We all watched a bit of TV and after half hour in her house we decided to make a move but I had to use the toilet first due to too much drinking. I went to the back. I didn't realize that Little Joel was following me. Only after I got out that Anna was telling me that Little Joel followed me to the back. That is so cute!!~!~!
4th house --> Jason's house
We left Anna's house to go to Jason's house but this time I couldn't set a time for Hazwan to get to Jason's house because Joel doesn't know the way to Jason's house. In addition to that, we had to wait for them because Joel had to send Soffian back home first. So we waited for Joel and Jon at Petronas. We were really out of schedule. Finally, Joel arrive and we drove to Jason's house.
That nice authentic house with nice interior decorations. Didn't bring camera!! Argh.. My second visit with two strangers to Jason. I told them both that we were going to someone's house whom they know not and they still insisted to follow us. I called Jason to let him know we were outside and the last thing he said was that no visiting upstairs this time. Hahha.. Awww~~~ Too bad!! Haha... We stayed for awhile and we all visited the toilet. Nature calls. Jon visited the toilet for literally visiting. Joel told Jon that the toilet was nice. Hahaa.. and Jon just had to see it.
I went to the back. Jason was there putting on his shoe and next to him was Rusty. So active and overly excited. He was chained up again. Jason said that Rusty has been chained up for 4 days already. Poor doggy~ His chain got caught at the door and was too short.
5th house & last house of the day - Gerard's house
We drove there as fast as possible. When we got into Gerard's house, I only realized that I totally forgotten to put on my contact lenses. Now that was why I was feeling so comfortable. I was telling Hazwan that I may need to go back home and put on my contact lenses. Jason heard what I said but he heard wrong. He heard 'Kotex'!! Argh... Perv!! Hazwan and Jon also said they heard 'Kotex'. My goodness, why would I want to announce if it was about 'Kotex'? I would be too embarassed to say.
We spent less than 15 minutes in Gerard's house and Hazwan had to rush back to my house. Hazwan, from now on.. I shall not complain about your driving anymore. Its just the way I like it though it is scary but it gets you to where you want on time. Hehe.. I went back home put on my contact lenses and took the present I prepared for Hazwan. Good thang I came home too. I forgotten to take the present out earlier on.
From my house we had to rush to Star Cineplex to get the tickets for Constantine since we reserved earlier this morning. We dropped Jason and Gerard there. We were suppose to wait for them to come down but as we waited I got really nervous and Hazwan said he would send me there first and come back for Jason and Gerard. Hazwan rushed to church and dropped me off. I was late~ I met Bertram, Juvior, Hansen and Davian. So I sat with them. After that I had to go to the St Teresa side of the church to meet my family. I was actually feeling more nervous again since the movie was at 7.15pm. My family came out and my mum drove me to Star.
I waited for the lift. I would have taken the stairs if I wasn't in heels and if the stairs was not so deserted. Creepy. Finally I got up to the cineplex. Everyone else already went in and Jason was waiting for me. Aww.. how nice of him. I feel guilty he missed a few minutes of the movie because of me though.
When we got to our seats it was only the beginning of Constantine. I was hoping they would put movie trailers before the actual movie. The beginning of Constantine was scary and I am not use to watching horror movies. The moment I started closing my eyes, Hazwan and Jason grabbed my hands! Those two are so mean!! They said that I should watch the best part of the movie since I paid to watch it. Argh... Imagine if I was scared to death and those images scar me for life?? They can keep my hands but still I can shut my eyes with my eye lids, Thank you. Hehe.. Thanx for the effort anyway guys. I can never be able to stand watching creepy, scary movie. ~Frail hearted~
Even Hazwan and Jason was closing their eyes during the scary scenes. HEhehe.. Now that doesn't make me look so bad. Haha.. The movie actually good but I can't stand gross looking creatures. Luckily the guys didn't eat before the movie or bought me food cause if they did, I think they would throw up and I wouldn't be able to stomach in my dinner while watching Constantine. I wouldn't want to spoil the movie, so I'll leave it at here.
The movie ended and we all rushed to get out of the cinema, out to the car. Hazwan didn't want to get stuck in the traffic while coming out of the car park. I didn't even manage to say 'Hi' to the rest that came to watch with us. Ronnie, Brendan, Edward, Haziq, Haziq's girlfriend and another friend of theirs. I only managed to wave at them while rushing to get out of the cinema.
We called up Ronnie and Brendan when we finally got out of the car park. Ronnie, Edward and Brendan wanted to follow us to go for a drink but Hazwan's couldn't fit another 3 person. Hazwan said he could only put in one more since there was already 4 of us. In the end, they couldn't follow us.
We went round the city looking for a place to eat our late dinner. We went couple of rounds though. Finally, we decided to go to Pizza Hut at Rock Road. It was still open. It was already 5 minutes to 10pm. We went up, ordered our food and waited for it to come. Jason and Gerard were such 'gentlemen' to get the soups for us. We talked a bit bout the movie but they were scared that I wouldn't be able to sleep if they continued. How thoughtful. Haha...
The food arrived in a jiff. We had Super Supreme and Royal Masala Pan Pizza with that there was 4 breadstix and 4 chicken bowls of chicken soup plus a jug of Pepsi. I really have had enough of carbonated drinks. We ate our food and was done in less than half an hour. We continued to sit and talk. We suddenly moved to the topic of dreams/nightmares. Everyone had much to say. Gerard seems to be able to get 'nice' dreams while Hazwan has this theory that we can't dream of what we don't know and Jason has scary, creepy dreams. It must be due to his interest in mythical books which has mythical creatures. My dreams are equally scary too.
It was 11pm and Pizza Hut was closing. So we left the place. We continued our topic in the car and Hazwan sent me home first. :( The day had to come to an end. Argh... I need more than 24 hours a day. 24 hours isn't enough!!!! I got back home and the house was dark except for a few lights on. My mum was there at the dining table doing her work. Luckily, she didn't say anything but I think she ain't happy either. Well, this is my last outing before school reopens. I shall await for the horrors of school.
I took a long, long hot bath and got ready to sleep. I was having heartburn and my chest pain was still there from all that shock I had from the movie. I was half way messaging when I fell asleep. I knew my hands were already so tired and my eyes were half opened, half closed while trying to press the keys of my handphone.
Fun filled day along with pressure and nervousness had to come to an end. Hazwan, I'm really sorry that you had to rush around so much. I want to wish you Happy 19th Birthday!!
With that I end my post.
Take care all and I shall see you all in school on Valentine's DAY!
Love lots,
yomI

Visiting and Chit Chat

Saturday, February 12, 2005
We are all still in the Chinese New Year mood, visiting, eating cookies and chit chatting. I woke up extremely early this morning. We wanted to go for the 6.30am mass in St Joseph but it was 6.20am by the time we are still at home so we all decided to go for the 7.30am mass in St Peter. On arriving at St Peter, I saw Mr Lim's car just parked. He recognizes me outside of school. That's not so good. He came and greet me and said that he was late for mass. I saw the time and it was only 7.22am but when we got the front entrance of the church we realized that we were late since everyone was going to receive the ash. It seems that they had changed the time to half an hour early.
After the mass we went home. I was so tired that I went to sleep again since I only had about 4 hours plus sleep earlier on. When I woke up, no one else was home. It seems like my family went out without me. I went online and Hazwan told me he was going to visit Joel. So I told him I would join him. He came in less than 10 minutes and we went to Joel's place. We were the first guests for the day. After awhile Anna, Andrea, Andrea's little sister and Lionel came followed by Ehren and Jonathan. Soffian and Shariman came. We couldn't stay long since Joel said another big group was coming. So the group moved to my house. My family was already home.
Ehren was saying that I didn't save the pasta for him. Every year he looks forward to eating my mum's pasta but this year he didn't manage to come. There is always next year. :P They all sat and talked. After awhile they had to leave as they have many more houses to go.
In the afternoon, I followed my mum and my brother to visit a neighbour near my house. Not really close by to my house but somewhere in the same road. My brother and I had a crash course on Greek history, Macedonian history, the truth behind the movie 'Alexander', a preview of Flight of The Phoenix and etc. This uncle of mine is a very witty and fun guy to talk to. He is equip with strong memory of history. Just name it, any history. From East to West and North to South. He knows it all. Besides that he has great taste in movies. We normally go to him for really good and meaningful movies.
After that, I had to go home since my friends were coming over. That means that I would be short of another ang pao. :( I've been skipping all the visiting with my parents. The ones which I would get most ang pao. You all should be honoured, I would rather hang out with you guys than going for ang paos. Hahaha... After a few minutes, Ronnie, Brendan Chin, Ivor, Jason and Gerard came. It seems that my house is so cozy that everyone who comes and sit on the couch would feel so sleepy. You should see how these people sat on the couch. They looked like they would fall asleep anytime.
My living is my part time bedroom too. Hehe.. My whole family always fall asleep on the couch. Somehow that place sends a sleeping vibe around. Anyways, Ivor manage to show us his skills on the piano. I wish I could play like him. Gerard was busy playing with the guitar. Brendan was particularly the quietest there. Jason is not bad. He managed to drink at least 4-5 cups of beer. Although that thing is bitter it has weird effect on me. My muscles would just feel like melting and I would be so sleepy. Ivor finished playing the piano and started lying down on the matt on the big pillow. 'Make yourself at home?' Hehe..
After that Feli came around. I locked the door. They all wanted to pretend to be sleeping. Funny. In the end, Jason and Ronnie went to the door and said "What's the password?" Feli answered "Bak Kut Teh!" Haha.. We all stayed for a while longer for my brother to come back.
My mum and my brother came home and that was when we had to make a move. Jason and Gerard ended up coming with us to visit Pn. Lye. On the way to Pn. Lye's place, we made a few wrong turnings. Talk about short memory. Hehe.. When we got to Pn. Lye's place. Another group of girls were there. Ratchell and her gang. :) We all sat down and talked but it was long until Pn. Lye herself wanted to go to mass which was at 5.30pm. By 5.20pm we were all outside the house going our separate ways. Jason followed Pn. Lye so Feli had to send Gerard home which was pretty near to Pn. Lye's house.
After sending Gerard home, Feli drove to Pn. Jo's house again. She took out her plastic bag of fireworks and played it. Pn. Jo's daughters are so cute. I just had to play with them. Feli was asking me when I would get married and have my own kids so I don't have to steal other people's kids. :( I love kids. They are so adorable but only the nice ones. The mean ones which would even kung fu you is not my favourite. Hahha..
We had a few rounds of 'Tai Ti' again with Pn. Jo and her husband until Feli's dad called to ask her to go home. Before going home, we had to drop by Adrian's house to pass him his uniform which he left in Feli's car last week after the Sports Day. Then Feli sent me home.
I was home by 7pm. Yay!! My mum can't say anything. 7pm is not late. Its actually too early. Hehe.. but I've been very good for the month. I haven't gone over exceed 11pm. This week alone I have been too good to be true to come home before 8pm everday. See.. I am a good girl. Hehe..
I have only two more days before school reopens again. :( Sadness!!! Why can't our holiday be two weeks holiday?? Then it would be enough days for me to go visit. I want to drive!!! ARgh!!! I want my own car too~ Hahhaa.. I want too many things anyway. I guess I will just wait for that time to come. In the mean time, I will have to make do with what I have. :( Hehe.. but life is still FUN & CRAZY!!! YAY!!!
Love lots,

Mahjongs and Tai Ti

Friday, February 11, 2005
First thing I woke up I had to prepare the dishes. Lots of washing and wiping dishes and utensils. My sister was helping my mum out with the cooking part and my brother was most of the time at the computer. This year, my mum finished cooking by 12pm. Good compared to other years.
We have the pasta and spaghetti sauce, curry, rendang, lamb stew, mix vegetables, mushroom dish and a few more other I think. Every year we roughly cook the same thing. I actually look forward to the 2nd day of Chinese New Year because I know the food will be so yummy.
We actually finish everything by 12.30pm and we all got ready to be able to serve guests. Our first guest of the day was my neighbours which I didn't manage to greet them because I was having my shower and they left by the time I was done. After them was a friend of my brother, sister and I. He came alone so it was easier for us. We
After he left, no one else came. Most of friends called to let me know that they were coming late as some of them are going to Bau. Since everyone postponed their time I called up Feli and told her it was green light for me to follow her to go visiting. She came over and we went to pick up her cousin and we went to Pn. Jo's house. Nice yellow house. Her sons are so active and her daughter Jessica is very cute. Azelea, Khalleeq, Amalina, Kim Hua and Shariman was there playing mahjong. Feli joined in to play. I only managed to watch and yet still I don't understand the game.
I spent most of the time playing with Pn. Jo's daughter. A big group of Pn. Jo's ex-students came and the house was so pack. Alcos, Julian and Anna was the few that I recognized. They set up their own table for mahjong and played. Only after 2 hours plus that I got to play 'Tai Ti'. Pn. Jo, Feli, Joseline and I played. So many rules. A bit different from how I normally play.
After that, Darrel, Sebas, Hazwan and a few more came back from Bau. I had one more round of Tai Ti, took some pictures and then followed Sebastian to Jo Ann's house. We met up with the rest at Jo Ann's house. She has parabolic dish. Too many channels. :p We talked for awhile and I was telling them about what my mum cooked for today and straight after that Jo Ann was saying "Come lets go!". Haha.. So we all went over to my house. Very good timing as my mum was heating up the food. We all had dinner and my sister's friends came too. A friend of my brother came too. The house was pack. Brightly litted and talking really loudly.
I was also debating with Sebastian on certain things but there were things that we agreed upon. We were all hugging pillows and we looked like the shoe 'Pillow Talk' on NTV7. Hahah.. My sister's friends all hung out at the piano and they took turns playing the piano and singing. Hazwan was saying it felt like he was in a bar. Very nice.
At 10.30pm they had to make a move as we all remembered about Ash Wednesday mass early tomorrow morning at 6.30am. Sebastian let me drive his Perdana again around the park and outside. So fun. I made sure I was relaxes enough to actually enjoy the drive but I realized the way I sit is so stiff. I tried a few times to adjust but still I manage to make myself so stiff. Darn..
My sister's friends stayed til about 11pm plus and the last guest we had was my brother's friend, Jason. He played cards with us and gambled with my brother and my sister. Now I'm here blogging and rushing to get to bed to attend early morning mass tomorrow. See yas!! Happy Chinese New Year! Do come visit but give me call first!
Love always,

Happy Chinese New Year!

*Fireworks making my ears deaf*

At the stroke of midnight today, you can see fireworks up in the sky and on the ground some hanging from sticks. Everyone starting their Chinese New Year with a big bang. It was believed that to play fireworks at the stroke of midnight brings good luck to the house. That was what I was informed of.
For a change this year, I was actually looking forward to play fireworks. Throughout my years, I never really did like fireworks. I was always scared of lighting up the 'Chai Lei' (Colour Flower) and the long big fire cracker. My brother was the one who always had to light those up. The most I would play is the 'Dinosaur Egg' which is less dangerous compared to the rest.
My brother and I prepared with our plastic bag of fireworks and lit the long loud fire cracker outside at our porch. After that, our neighbour from behind, Keith called my brother to join them near the park to play the fireworks. So my brother and I went. There were about 10 kids or more. Most of them were playing 'Chai Lei' which made me looked like a pathetic big girl.
I was playing with the 'Dinosaur Egg' and moved on to playing little kids fireworks. The stick which burns out sparks. I was litting it up with a lighter on my right hand when suddenly the spark from the stick got to my fingers. I burnt my fingers. My thumb turned black and I could feel my flesh tearing. I went to look for a water tap and ran water through my fingers but it just made my fingers more sore so I told my brother that I was going to home to get my fingers treated.
I went home and cleaned my fingers and put some toothpaste on it. My mum was like "See, you wanted to play fireworks. Now your fingers are burnt. You were asking for it" :( A few minutes later my brother came home shouting he needed his IC. Some policemen in a Kancil came. They wrote down my brother's IC number and his name. It is unfair. Everyone was playing why catch only my brother. SHEEhhhhSSSHh...
What a way to start the New Year, huh? Such excitement and adventure. I fear for the next 365 days of what other things to happen. Hehe.. I had so much trouble sleeping after that. Forget what they put on the box of counterpain about not to put counterpain on burnt skin. It actually sooths the pain. I was enjoying it. My counterpain is so useful. I use it for muscular pains, mosquito bites and burnt skins. Pretty good. HEhehe...
I woke up at 9.30am today. Went down and helped out with serving the biscuits and snacks. We had our lunch and no one came. We broke the record this year. No one came to the house until 4pm. I even had time to sleep for about 2 hours before my friends came. They were surprised that they were the first to come. Michael was driving his new Nissan Frontier and some guys were sitting at the back of the pick-up truck. Julian and Irdwin was driving.
They seemed quite tired after only a few houses. Most of them were already falling asleep or hugging the pillows. Talk about 'Make yourself at home'. Haha.. They had to leave since a family friends came and so did Azelea, Khalleeq, Felicity and Jackson. We talked at the dining table while my mum was serving the family friends. We all put out our handphones on the table. Feli and Khalleeq was busy sending each other multimedia messages.
After awhile, I asked my mum for permission to go out visiting with them and Feli bargained with my mum. Way to go Feli ! We went to Kim Hua's house. It was far. Azelea had too much to eat at the houses before so she was really having trouble with her stomach. Students from U6C came to Kim Hua's house too. They stayed for a very short time though.
An hour later we left the place. We decided to go to Jason's house. It wasn't so hard to find. It is too big to miss if you ask me. Haha.. I didn't even memorized the address. I just remembered what he told me. When we got there, we were amazed at the design of the exterior of the house. The father designed the house. Jason had other guest in the house so we stayed outside. It was really windy. A very nice place to actually just sit there and study or just enjoy the outdoor air. He gave us the outside tour around his house. The shape of the house was very different from other houses. We met Rusty, Jason's 4 months old puppy which looks so big for a 4 months old dog. A very friendly dog. He is so cute. I wanted to pat the head and rub his fur so I bent down but Rusty was already licking my shirt and up to my neck. Luckily not my face. Hahaha..
I'm pretty used to dogs. Most dogs are nice. Remember Aldo, the German Shepherd? He liked me so much that he was kissing my butt so much last year. Aldo's housemate Bernie isn't so nice. He barks at me. I wonder why he doesn't like me. Anyways, Rusty is so pretty. The colour of his fur is so nice.
I washed my hands and was wondering if my hands stinks of dog saliva. It wouldn't be nice to shake people's hand with a smelly hand. After awhile, the guests inside went home and we changed our venue. The interior was even nicer than the exterior. Spacious with authentic antiques. Jason's father talked to us for awhile asking questions. The funniest one I could recall was "How is my boy in school? Very naughty?" None of us answered. Hehehe.. :p We are not so mean to embarass Jason in front of his father. See, we are nice people!! *wink wink*
Azelea made a few rounds round the living room looking at the all the funny little things while Khalleeq, Feli, Jason and I talked and ate the biscuits, cakes and sweets. We talked and joke about like we always do. Like I said, we always have something to laugh about. We commented a lot bout a lot of things in the house. Things we rarely see. Paintings, smoke pipe??, pictures, decorations and etc.
Azelea went exploring herself and after about 5 minutes of so I was beginning to worry that she got lost some where or fainted in the toilet. So I went to look for her in the kitchen. The rest followed me from behind. We were all calling out for Azelea but she didn't response. We were like playing hide and seek. So we walked out of the kitchen and heard Azelea's voice upstairs. No fair, Azelea got the grand tour from the father. Haha.. So in the end, Jason himself had to give us the grand tour. At the stairs, there was this huge carpet hanging up with pictures of leopards. Decorated beneath the leopards was cats. Very cute. Beautifully and tastefullyl decorated.
Jason brought us to his parents room which looks very nice. It even has a sofa in the room. Very spacious. I wish I had all that space!! His parents wardrobe cupboard looks so huge. After that, we got to see Jason's room. Oh my goodness, he was telling us how messy his room is. It was squeaky clean. My room compared to his is a jungle. I am so ashamed of myself. I lost to a guy. :( *face turning all red*
I helped him messed up his room by putting the books on the floor but even after doing that his room still looks better than mine. Argh... He owns a very good and sophisticated torch light which the light is so strong that it could shine all the way at the neighbour's house opposite his. I wonder what has he been doing shining the torch that way?? :P AHEM aHEM!! After hanging out in his room, we went down and continued to eat and drink.
He was so mean saying that my fingers looks ok and that I'm just being girly girl to say that it hurts so much. Hai~ It wasn't his fingers which got burnt. How would he know?? We talked and joked around more. Before we made a move to go back, Jason lit up the long fire cracker. We all watched outside. We saw some really nice fireworks up in the sky too. Really nice. After that we all went home. Awww.. Gonna miss that nice, authentic house. Next time I shall be successful and rich and design a home like that.
When I got home, luckily my mum was not angry. It was only 9pm. Very early compared to other times. I ate my dinner and then here I am blogging about today. Today I had great fun besides getting my fingers burnt. HAAHa.. I guess that is all.
Love lots,
yomI

Pizzas and Elektra

Monday, February 07, 2005
Today, I woke up at 10.30am. Quite late. It was due to me sleeping at 4.30am or much later than that since I had trouble sleeping. I cleared up my room and polished the piano. After that I got ready to go out for lunch. I was suppose to meet up with Jason, Gerard, Sean, Milton (finally I got his name right) and Dean.
My dad didn't wanna send me so in the end my mum had to send me. Met Jason and Gerard at Mohammed and Sons bookstore. They told me Sean couldn't come because his brother was in the hospital. Dean and Milton will only be coming around 12.30pm. So we hung out in Sarawak Plaza to kill time. Looking at CDs, cassettes, watches and books. After awhile, Milton and Dean came. We all walked to Pizza Hut and tauke Jason lead the pack in.
We had 1 Large Hawaiian Supreme, 1 Regular Super Supreme, 8 Garlic Breadstix, suppose to be 6 bowls of Soup but only had 4, 1 Jug of Pepsi and 1 Hot Platter. Yummy~ Dean ate so little. He had his lunch earlier. Macho guy, Gerard couldn't fit in extra pizza. We made Milton eat more since the lunch was to celebrate his success in getting top 3 for his events.
We actually finish everything except we missed out 2 bowls of soup. None of us could stomach in anything more. The treat was on Jason. Some people very nice wanna treat all of us to lunch. We shall all repay him one day. :p
We walked slowly up to Star Cineplex. We were about 50 minutes earlier than the movie. We were gonna watch ELEKTRA. We hung out outside watching trailers on the trajector screen. Movies showing soon - Hide and Seek, Star Wars III, Robots, Constantine, Batman Begins and etc.
The movie was suppose to start at 3pm but it was delayed til 3.15pm.We sat some where right under the speaker. Talk about full effect. Hahaha.. The movie was good with fighting scenes, kissing scenes, even has women kissing another women scene and etc. I spent half the time of the movie covering my eyes with my jacket in fear. Haha.. I'm easily scared. Frail hearted. :p Jason and Gerard who sat next to me kept commenting on how come I was being so scared.
After the movie we hung out downstairs at the railing. Really lepaking. Hahaha.. From there, Dean and Milton waited for their car while Jason and Gerard walked with me to church to accompany me. Very nice people. :p
We talked and talked even after we arrived at church, we continued to talk. Today was fun though sometimes i barely could understand what they were talking bout. I really must go now. I feel very very tired. I haven't been getting enough sleep. Just in case I won't be here during CNY, Happy CHINESE NEW YEAR!! Do come and visit if you have time. Good night. Bye bYe
Love always, yomI
