Shheesshhhh~

Saturday, January 29, 2005
You know what... when I post up funny, weird post with suspicious issues a few people come to their own weird assumptions of it. Its too bad because it has no effect on me. You should hear their interpretation of the issue. Its funny. I practically laughed after listening to what my friend said. Some people just assume and change the whole meaning of what I meant. They made up stories as if I'm in the wrong side. I don't bother. A lot of people and myself know what is going on and that is all that matters. Only those who are concerned of two people whom we all care a lot for. Not some bimbo who thinks she is so clever and make up stories. She doesn't even know the truth and now trying to tell people why I'm not happy with the duty list. OH MAN! It is so funny!! I didn't say I wasn't happy, my dears. I said it looks funny and suspicious. Don't understand or know the meaning of those words? For your information, I have no problem with duties. To me every single duty is too easy. Its way easy. You just have to stand still most of the time. I'm sure a lot of people can do so.
Anyways, as long as I know what's going on and the best part of it is everything is settled already but I do pity the outcome of it. Horrible. I told you the things that should not have happen or never happen should stay that way. Why are they always other parties who just love to squeeze or butt-in? It is of no business to them anyway. If they actually came and ask me themselves I would be glad to point it out as I pointed it out to a few people already. Most of them understood what I meant. Still majority wins over minority.
I'm so relieved after all this is done. There is only one last thing to do. That I'll keep it to myself. Don't worry it is nothing bad. I'm going to be nice and give advice to my friend, a very dear friend to me. Bernard and I make a good team in solving problems. He is just so funny and blur.
Ratchell told me something which I find really funny. She was talking in her funny weird way everytime she's excited or being sarcastic. I try my best to recall what she said but I think this is what she said to me "You know, that 'kontot' punya pompuan at the back go simply say that when I'm with Calista, I b*tch about you and when I'm with you, I b*tch about Calista. She mauk cari pasal with me, ya? Belum lagi tengok ..... something I can't remember but I was laughing because I know that 'kontot' punya pompuan is like that. She has been like that since form 1. That 'kontot' punya pompuan sometimes always cincai say things but to me she can just cincai say as long as it doesn't reach my limit because if she does I am capable of a few 'destructions'. Hahaha.. :p Why don't believe, ah?
But most of the time, I'm just too lazy to bercari pasal with people or to put up with the stupid things they say or do unless it is really worth it like when it comes to saving a few people from getting hurt otherwise its a waste of my time and energy. In life, people will always talk. You can't stop them from talking. They have a freedom to do so but if it bothers you, just tell them off. If not just ignore and laugh at it because if you get angry at them, they love it even more.
When I am mean to a person, I have reasons to do so. Those reasons are good enough for me to be mean. My way of being mean is just to ignore the person and not talk to the person. Not much harm done anyways. Its like a self-preservation thing. It is better than shouting it all out and making a fool of yourself. In the end, you'll just be wasting your time and energy trying to prove something while if you just let it be, life would be much easier to cope with.
That's all from me.
Love lots, yomI

Marching Under Sun or Rain

Friday, January 28, 2005
For the past three days I've been going to school early by at 15 minutes than usual. Felicity got the car and she offered to me for a ride to school and a ride back for three days in row. Her driving is quite ok but she does make sudden zooms and gives me heart attack. Seriously, my chest hurts everytime I get shock. Oh, the pain!!
Anyways, I've been waking up myself and doing my breakfast all by myself. You all should be proud of me. I'm all grown up. Hahha.. It does feel a bit weird that my mum doesn't wake up in the morning with me. I've not been getting enough sleep for the past few days anyways.
On Tuesday, I actually woke up at 3 am. Half an hour after my brother went to sleep. I went online for about an hour and after that I did my homework. Its always so cold in the morning but as the time shows 6 am that's when it starts to warm up.
It has been a quite busy week with marching practice and tests. I had to re-schedule my piano lessons. Argh.. my teacher is so going to be disappointed that I have to skip piano lesson two weeks in a row. I'm in a bit of trouble there. That reminds me I have to practice piano!!!
Well, I had my maths test yesterday. Terry asked me to sit next to him. Not a very good place to be as the air-cond is blowing at me right from the back making me shiver with cold. The test was horrible but I regretted not doing enough exercise to understand how to do the questions. Terry was funny. We kept talking during the test but we were not talking bout the test. We were talking about something else. Something that has been bothering us for the past week. I'm good at talking to people without looking at them. I had no problem talking to him but when he asked questions which needs more thinking I had to tell him to talk later as I was cramming my head to answer the questions.
Today, we kinda wasted about 3 periods up in the AVA room listening to the Seminar about setting our targets for STPM. It was a waste for me as I didn't like the counsellor's sense of humor. His sense of humor is not anywhere near funny. His remarks are pretty insulting if you ask me. After that, I watched the 5A students doing high jump. There were quite a few potential ones.
It was recess then and Bertram pulled a stunt and poked his finger through the polystyrene. It made a few of us felt sick in the stomach with him eating while his finger is in there with his food. *Bluek* My duty post during recess is quite fun. I mean the people who are on duty with me are fun. Our particular post has extra people and I am the extra person so my senior always pair me up with Leonard or Khalleeq. These two are fun people. I have a lot to talk to them about. At least I have someone to keep me company while doing my boring duty. Heehe.. My senior always has to remind me to be serious. I guess it is my nature to not be serious when I'm in a good mood.
After school, Feli and I randomly chose Sarawak Club to have lunch there. It was a good choice too. We met Adrian Jong there and made him sit with us while we finish up our lunch. He's very lucky to have met us for we gave him a lift to Civic Centre and he was having fun waving to his friends on the way. Funny character. He's like a rebel and still can be so like a gangter. Hahaha.. Now he calls me 'Ta Jei' meaning big sister and I call him 'Siaw Di Di' meaning small brother.
We were late but still early enough to not get punish. There were more than 30 of us prefects at Civic Centre car park practising our march. It was funny to march next to Adrian. He told me jokes while we were jogging and made funny remarks when we were marching. It was so funny. We were the few at the back who kept laughing.
Adrian's definition of our leader/head : Our asshole. That is because he was reminding me of a joke about the asshole who wanted to be the leader of the body and everyone laughed at the asshole. It was funny. It started to rain a little and we girls were dismiss from marching as we were wearing white. Ahem.. You all understand why right? Well, Alayne and I ran one round to train ourselves but when we got back we missed the part where everyone was cursing Elder and Jackson. It was so cool. They get to say "F*ck you, Jackson!" and they gladly did push-ups after that. Brendan Lo kept cursing them and he did many push-ups. I was cheering him on. Brendan shouted "Bodoh" straight into Elder's face. How often do people do that? Man, I wish I could do that.
Jackson was being mean, anyone who laughed or moved had to do 5 push-ups. He was provoking the boys to laugh and it made Iggy so hard to keep from laughing. I was pretty annoyed at Jackson for if he was provoking me to laugh I would most probably roll my eyes in disgust. He asked me to time 10 minutes for Edward to stand still. So I kept my eyes on Edward and told him to not bother to look at Jackson if he provokes him to laugh. There was nothing actually funny to laugh about though. I didn't see the reason to laugh at Jackson as it wasn't funny to see people suffer.
The boys had to take off their shoes to march as it was raining and Jackson said to them to keep their shoes dry put their shoes under sheds but in the end the rain was only for a few minutes. They continued on marching without their shoes. Pity them. Some of them were wearing their socks and after the march they had holes in their socks. The things you get from participating in things like this. It wasn't like we had a choice if we wanted to march or not either.
You all should take a good look on the prefect duty list for this week. There is something which actually looks suspicious and obvious in it. Well, only a few of us actually spotted it out. Now go have a good look at it tomorrow if it is still there and tell me if you notice it. Hahaha.. Or you guys can just forget what I just said. Hehehehe..
Love always,
yomI

Why?

Tuesday, January 25, 2005

Why pretend to be?
Why being so fake?
Is that the best you can do?
I sure hope so!

To most of you, you can just ignore that. Hehehe.. To the one who feels like it was directed to you then so be it. Its as annoying as it gets. I'm getting the feeling that I should just ignore but when even to ignore is hard to do when everyone comes back to you in hoping for the truth. All I can ask is 'WHY?!' Totally just why. I have tonnes of why.
I had a friend who complained to me about it and I find it rather amusing as I didn't expect him to say anything which is negative about a person. He always tells me its not good to say negative things about people but suddenly last night he was complaining. He was complaining to me of how fake that person was. He said it was annoying.
It is quite embarassing to be fake in front of people only for them to point it out to others and it becomes a laughing material. Well, they are many ways of being fake as I have posted on November 11th, 2004 with the title 'Ever Wonder?'.
There are a few people who asked me about the problem today. Though it hasn't really bothered me the past few weeks but from what happen last Thursday afternoon and Friday evening its starting to bother me again and quite a few people too, those who are concern and am afraid of the outcome of such a mess that should not or never have happen. A day trip went down the drain when the matter was brought up and it ruined their day that was suppose to be well spent together. Argh~~ What a way to supposedly have a get-away.
I bet a few of you are very confused as to what I'm actually trying to say but not to worry. When you are confused its quite good because it means that you are not the one. Its a good thing. :p
Hopefully the next few days will be better. If you see me walking real slow trying to drag my right leg, well I think pulled some muscles and the pain is killing me softly. Who can give me a good massage? Who has the skills and knows the technique? I may need the help because if I don't get my leg muscle to heal I would have trouble running for sports day!!
Did I mention that there's an exchange student in our school. He just started today. He's in Form 4. Yay! I was the first few to meet him but Lowell and Aaron gave him the Grand Tour. He's tall and has nice curly hair. Loved the colour by the way. He's from Argentina. His accent is quite hard to listen to though. I shall talk to him more and be his friend. Hahaha.. I seriously meant that in a friendly manner. No funny business~
Anyways, I need to go now. I have a hard week ahead of me. Marching, tests and more to come I should think so! To my faithful readers, hope I didn't take up to much of your time! :p
Love Lots, yomI

In Great Pain~

Monday, January 24, 2005
I've been pretty bad this weekend. I hardly touch my Physics book. Maybe studied like a few pages when I'm suppose to finish the whole of Volume 1 and first chapter of Volume 2. Someone please give me a hard kick. Anyways, it has been a long weekend which will come to an end in a few more hours.
On Friday, I woke up at 9am which is quite early considering it was a holiday. I normally wake up at 12pm. Hehhe.. I had to go for Prefect marching in the afternoon but before that Feli and I made a trip to Parkson. We met up with Jason and Ronnie who parked behind Feli and called her asking where she was. We ended up talking in the middle of a busy area. Ronnie said he was going to escape marching. So Feli and I were thinking we could do so. Jason and Ronnie went shopping while Feli and I went down to Sugarbun to have our second lunch. YESh.. Greedy.. Both of us are really greedy creatures. We can eat and eat but it burns a hole in our pockets.
After finishing our Kano Fish we decided what the heck we might as well go for the marching. Jason and Ronnie were already in Sarawak Plaza. So off we went to Civic Centre. There were almost 20 people. Jackson made us run one round. I was thinking heck might as well get it done fast. So I started running until suddenly when Feli reminded I just ate. Damn. I totally forgotten I just ate. So I slowed down to walking.
After that my tummy didn't feel too well. It felt like everything inside was upside down. Jackson was teaching us the basics. Bla bla bla... Kiri.. Kiri.. Kiri Kanan.. Kiri.. Straight after Jackson said we could live, Feli and I walked to her car and she said "Let's go for ice cream!" YAY!! I was so happy. After a hot marching.. ice cream next. So Feli drove to Sunny Hill but they were already closing so we went to McDonald. She had the ice cream cone dip in chocolate while I just had mine plane. Chocolate.. not my cup of tea. :P
After that Feli sent me home and then I think I sat home all night. I watched that movie 'Save The Last Dance' with my mum. It was nice. I like any movies with dancing in it. Ballroom, Latin dance, Hiphop dance. Anything as long as it is dancing. Half way through the movie I realized that it was late and I was suppose to give Nick a call. So I called him but he was engaged on the other phone so he said after he finish his other phone call he'd call me back. Goody, at least I could watch my movie til the end.
A few minutes after the movie ended I went up to my room and at the same time the phone rang. Luckily, I plugged the line to the cordless phone. I get the luxury of my own phone in my room. Hehehe.. but nothing beats the normal traditional phone. Well, the cordless was only temporary while my parents are still awake. Nick and I talked for how would I put it.. a few hours?? 4 hours if I'm not mistaken. Its been a long time since I pulled a stunt like that. Its amazing that we had so much to talk about. Talk about last minute before him flying back to Melbourne.
It kinda brings back memories of the past. He has grown up. Now he isn't as shy as he was 3 years ago. Its amazing how a person can change after a few years. He still has that little boy face but he isn't a little boy when he starts talking. Its funny how he talks about girls even to his friend's father. I regret telling him my nickname which only a few people who thinks its cute to call me that way because he ended up calling me by that name throughout the whole conversation. I came up with a good nickname for him which jeopardizes his manhood. Haahhaha..
It was a good way to catch up especially at the very last minute. :P People like me ain't that lucky. Especially when I can't drive. There's always next time. Hopefully. I was thinking of sending Nick off at the airport cause he was in for a 'good kicking' from me since he 'annoyed' me but I ended up not going. If I was to go, I would most probably end up crying. As Nick said, "Emotional freak" So I only bid him farewell through the phone.
At least now I know I can keep friends eventhough they study some where very far. Yay!! Yesterday afternoon I had marching again. It was lots of pain. We marched two rounds at the Civic Centre parking space at the back. When it finished, a few of us stayed back and we all talked. It was fun. Thanx to Jason I got a free drink. I shall treat him the next time. Heheeh..
JC as he calls himself is a funny tall guy. Only got to know him last year. Pretty cool to talk to and I must add that he has extra-ordinary fans. A few others like both Brendan, Leonard, Gerard and etc. were also having a good laugh especially when someone says the wrong things. Haha.. They might be younger than me but they sure are a fun bunch of people to be with. Maybe because I'm still young at heart. :p Haha..
I must go now. My mum wants to go out for shopping. I feel so much pain~! :(
Love always, yomI

Yummy Tom's

Saturday, January 22, 2005
Yesterday I went out to dinner with Sebastian. On our way to the city, we saw fireworks in the sky again and I was commenting why is it that everytime we go out together there are fireworks on. We tried a new place called Tom's. Its next to bing! in Jalan Padungan. The interior of the place was designed very tastefully. Very elegant. A very good place to bring your date for a dinner. Well, the food price range is around RM26 - RM 160 or more. Mainly western food. Crazy Sebastian wanted to order a bottle of wine. I told him since he is driving he better not so he said I can drink it. I said if I'm drinking and he's not then better not drink. So we didn't get the wine. Besides Chinese New Year is coming and he promised to bring a bottle of wine over to my house when he visits.
Well, everytime Sebastian comes back from Labuan we would go for dinner and try out new places. Its fun. We experiment new places and comment on them although he said I'm his experiment. I didn't quite understood that part but I think its about getting ready for his future girlfriend. So when he does get a girlfriend he'll know where to bring her for dinner. He is one weird guy in a way but most of my friends are weird too. Hehehe..
He has about two more months in Labuan and then he's finishing his matriculation course. He was saying something about matriculation being a very racist place. He doesn't really like the place but it is a good place to be independent since he said the rules there are quite strict except now the guards are slacking off. He had lots of stories to tell last night. About his friends, girls and the lousy maticulation. I guess the reason why he likes to bring me out to dinner is to tell me stories. At least I have a story-teller and I get to tell him stories too.
He let me drive his mum's Perdana last night. Its been a month since I last drove a car but it was fun. I didn't make any crazy turns or speed. I just took it slow but I did some sudden brakes. I get pretty scared when there cars around. Well, I need to first get my licence. Hehehe.. Not to worry that can wait a little while more. Am not in a rush to drive. Driving isn't really my thing.
I got home at exactly 11pm. I've been a very good girl. Haven't over exceeded my curfew for the past month. :) I'll maybe bend that curfew during Chinese New Year. I have tests coming up. *sniff sniff* Pain, Very Pain!!~!~!~!
Anyways, I'm still thinking of that particular hand and that particular voice. Help~!~! Blame it on my brain which isn't functioning very well since Wednesday. Its draining my happy mood away. I'm melting away and day-dreaming.
Did I mention that I got a letter from Thames Valley University London. I was thinking I got an offer letter to study music there but I was invited to go for my graduation ceremony for my Diploma in Music. I would have to wear the square hat and the robe to receive my certificate. Now I'm thinking if I should make music my life. Its scary the thought of having to choose what you want to do in years to come.
I must go now. Lunch is calling.
Loves always, yomI

Time Passing By

Thursday, January 20, 2005
Its amazing how fast time passes. Its amazing how fast I go through my mornings in school. I just sit there and poof it was time go home. I've been late to duty ever since the start of the year. I've gotta start putting the time on the clocks in the house 10 minutes earlier. It works for me and I don't tell anyone else that I set the time faster. HEhehe..
It is really fun when you just keep a happy heart. I've been pretty happy in school. Laughing, making funny remarks and just hopping around like a frog. Maybe just a little nuts in the head but it pays off. Everyone around you would be happy. You can see their smiling happy faces. I guess I'm in love with smiles. How wonderful the world would be when everyone is smiling and happy....
Monday past by really fast and the weirdest part is I slept at 7pm that night. I thought I would wake up later and maybe practice some piano and do my homework. I did wake up but only to look at the time and went back to sleep. I got some miss calls from Khal. He doesn't seem to sleep. He miss calls at 2-3am and goes to school in the morning. In the end, I only woke up at 6am. I slept for 11 hours. Crazy or not? Hehehe.. On a school day some more. Luckily, there wasn't much homework to be handed in on that day.
Today, I had my normal school mornings and I spot checked Form 3C. Found out that my senior who is actually one year my junior is such a perv~! He was looking at someone's mother. Aduh~ Hahaha.. but he's still funny. Brendan was being such a serious senior on duty today. I wonder which bug got to him. :p
I had to stay back in school for Maths and Chemistry extra class in the afternoon. Went to Palm Cafe at the back with Julian, Bernard and David. We met Jeremy who was sitting all alone. So we sat with him. He didn't finish his meat though. He was pretty quiet too. He offered to give us a ride back but Julian said it was ok for us to walk back. Clumsy Julian spilled my soup. :(
We walked back to school and went for class. We had our class in the AVA room. Pn. Noryana off all the lights and it was the perfect setting for sleeping in the afternoon. Some boys were sleeping on the seats at the back rows. I was freezing cold as the air-cond with directly blowing at me from the back. After an hour, I was using Julian's blazer. Pn. June was giving back our test papers and so the class was busy chatting away and walking around. I was one of em'. :p
My hands were freezing cold. Julian kept bugging me and Bert was busy cutting shapes for his 'car'. Julian said everytime he touch my hands, he said it felt like wood and I told him everytime I touch his arm it felt like a wood log. His arm is so big and his right arm is bigger than his left arm. Not balance. I guess it was all from his car. No power steering. Heavy to turn the steering. Good for building your biseps and triseps. Hahah..
After class, I was suppose to do my shopping in Hopoh but I met up with an old friend whom I haven't seen in the past 2 years since he migrated to Melbourne. Good thing we had somethings to talk about. He hardly changed. Still look like him. His English is real neat. One day, I shall be able to speak perfect English with no Singlish or Manglish influence. He will be going back to Melbourne on Saturday. Only the last few days of him being in Kuching then I meet him. Its a pity I can't drive. Sorry, NicK~! Next time, kay? Blame it on my phobia of driving but I do get my advantages right? :p Don't worry I'll give a call before you go. Me a snob? You didn't call me~! Hrmp!
Anyways, I must go now. I hope I won't fall asleep again. I'm getting pretty scared of going to sleep early. There's too much to do but my comfy bed is so appealing~~
Take care, Bye bye
Loves lots, yomI

Cross-Country Run~

Sunday, January 16, 2005
Sorry I haven't been posting up anything in the past week. I've been rather busy. This week, I done so much running almost everyday. It was a good training but ever since I started training I've been sleeping really early. The earliest this week was 9.20pm. The earliest I woke up was 4am in the morning. Ain't that cool? Hahaha.. It does make me feel restless too.Despite having trouble with myself I still managed to have fun and be happy. I guess its the effect of people around me. As long as they greet me with a big smile and happy greetings, I feel happy. No like I'm on drugs or anything. Its just that the mood of others around you effects you too.I had a Chemistry test on Wednesday afternoon after the Maths extra class which I wasn't really paying attention to as I was trying to cram in some last minute studying. The test I think I did ok in it. I should have done better and read more though. I should have done many things.
I wasn't feeling well this week but everyone were very caring and nice. To add on to my pain, Gayder has to come sit next to me. I had to move and change seat. I can't stand him. I sued Bernard's ass off for inflicting such pain on me. :p They are so mean. :( But at least now he owes me a cheese cake. Cakey!!!! YAY!! Julian and him came to visit me a few times at my table. Well, that's the least they can do for inflicting pain on me.
Towards the weekend my schedule was very full. With school in the morning on Friday then in the afternoon I have Prefect General Meeting with people giving speech and all. A bit lame though. Then they gave us our new shirts with funny nicknames such as Iggy, JC, Mizuno and etc. As for January babies, Azelea put on Naruto, a Japanese anime. We all watched and talked.
After that, Mike sent me home. Had to get ready for the launching of the Sports Month but instead I put on 'Love Actually' and watch again. In the end, I got ready in 10 minutes when Mike came to pick me up. Julian and Terry were already at Merdeka Palace by the time we parked at the Museum carpark. When we got to Merdeka Palace, most of the prefects were there already. We crossed the road to the Padang Merdeka and waited there where we were given food and drinks. We sat down in a circle and eat. I float between groups. Its fun to talk to different people and different things. There were big bikes, modified cars, and cyclist.
We waited for an hour and a half. It started to drizzle. Then the bikes vroomed pass followed by cars then cyclist and lastly us. We ran. The run lasted only less than 2 minutes. We were the last to arrive and the first to leave after Mr Lim dismissed us that is.
We walked back. Cut short many things. Then Julian was suppose to send me, Terry and Hazwan back but he got a call from Bernard asking us to join em' for late dinner. So we met up in Da-Light. We only drank while Ratchell ate. Bernard and Ratchell can pass as a couple!~!~!~! They both look so cute. HAhaha.. Then we go home lo...
Suppose to sleep early but I ended up sleeping at 1am. This morning people were already in Reservoir Park at 7am while I only woke up at 7.40am. I still had time to eat a bowl of noodles and some laksa. Bad combination though since I was suppose to run. I went to Reservoir Park by 8.30am and the form 2's were running already. It was raining. Slippery. I saw a boy fell at the end.
I walked around looking for people. My classmates who will be running with me. The prefects wore there new shirt. Looks good. Pity some of em' who had to stand under the rain. They get to eat KFC burger!!~!~!~! :'( My event started at about 9.45am. I ran some and walk some. Was in great pain for my tummy next time need to do breathing exercise too. Had trouble breathing. I only got 4th placing. :( I could have done better but at least my trainings with Feli did paid off. I told Feli to follow me but she didn't.
After the whole competition thing, Julian sent me home. Wanted to sleep but couldn't my dad kept shouting at me reminding me to do things. Argh..~ People wanna peng already and he still want me to help with food and stuff. Hai~ When he finally went out, I thought I could sleep. Forget it. Just when I was about to sleep, I realized that the house phone was ringing for a long time already. I ran down. By the time I got down the person put down. Went up want to sleep then my phone rang. My dad reminded me off the chicken. Hai~ Pai Mia!
Forget my sleep or rest, I had to bath and get ready for Rover meeting. Hai~ I didn't eat lunch only had a spoon of tuna. Make that half a spoon. So hungry by the time I got to school. Less than 10 people showed up. I was thinking after meeting we could go out and eat but Bernard had to do somethings. So Julian had to drive him there and then send Bernard home and then send me home. Julian actually wanted to cut his hair in Saberkas. Couldn't go.
Anyways, now I have to go as my mum is chasing me off. I hope to leave it to her so I wouldn't have to sit here and watch her click everything slowly. Bye bye....
Take care
Sincerely, yomI

Crazy Week

Sunday, January 09, 2005
Well, the first week of school is finally over but it makes no difference because soon a new week comes and I have to go through another whole week school. The pressure is starting to set in with homeworks, tests and extra classes coming. Horrible~
For the first week of school, I had the chance to have trouble with my socks! It was on Thursday. I was late for school so I rushed to get into the car with my socks in my hand but by the time I wanted to put my socks on, I couldn't find the other side. I was thinking that if I were to wear only one side of my socks to school. It would be damn funny. So I end up not wearing my socks at all. The first person I met at the front gate was Julian and I told him to look at my feet. He started laughing but he asked me if I wanted to borrow his socks. He had an extra pair in the car. I took his keys and went to class to put my things down first.
I ran to Julian's car since I was already late for my duty. I opened the boot to see his sports shoes and a pair of socks in it. I realized that he meant that pair of socks which he wore a few days ago to play soccer. I had no choice and wore it. When I got to my duty post. Everyone were waiting for me. CGM. Bertram was laughing at me, asking me who's socks I was wearing.
The day before Nicholas, my senior forgotten to bring his blazer. So Bertram was saying that since the day before was Nicholas and then me, the next day who will it be? Hahaha.. When I got back to class, I asked Julian bout his socks. He said it wasn't the one he wore to run the day before but the one he wore a few days ago. He was saying "sorry, sorry". Ain't his fault that his socks is like that. Its my own fault. Hrmp.. In the end, I went home with his socks and washed it for him.
Last night, I went out with 14 others from school for a dinner. Sung invited us to dinner. We all gathered in school. From there, we went to Ban Seng Corner in Jln. Keretapi. When we got there we were worried that the food is not HALAL as we have malay friends coming along. In the end, we went to Pizza Hut. It was 8.30pm by the time we got there. Most of the guys were hungry and they had a very light lunch like a chicken wing only or maggi mee. The staff of Pizza Hut had to combine a few tables together in order for us to sit as a whole group. It was a long long table. We started ordering pizzas and side dishes.
After half an hour the food came pouring in. Even the waiteress had to serve us the soup though it was self-service. They had trouble looking for bowls and we saw the soup wasn't enough but they had a fresh pot. Hahaha.. yummy... We started munching away. The guys were eating like they haven't eaten in days. I only had a slice of pizza. It was all that I could do because I had a light dinner before going out. Mike ate almost 8 slices of pizzas. Mike, Soffian and Bertram had a small pizza eating competition. Bertram won as his piece was small. Everyone was so full by the time everything was finish. We had extra soup, extra drinks and extra slices of pizzas since we ordered for the set meals which is for 18 person. But they all manage to finish everything up. Nothing was left.
Sung's girlfriend brought a cake from Taka. Its to celebrate Sung and her birthday. Late one though. October 4th. We were all so full and barely could stomach in anymore. We gave a slice of cake to the table behind us. The little boy was exclaiming "Birthday cake!". Since we were so full we gave a slice to the family. I actually know the father. He owns a pharmacy in King Centre where I always go to buy vitamins and etc.
We waited for Julian to come back because he had to send his girlfriend home early. Sung went to pay at the cashier. I was expecting to see RM160 plus but it turned out to be RM205.51 . That is so so expensive!! We could have gone to a restaurant. :p Oh well, but everyone was mighty full so I guess it was worth it??
It was 10.30pm when Mike sent me home. I arrived home at 10.40pm. Safe. My mum said to be back before 11pm. So I didn't get into trouble. She allowed me out for this dinner because she wanted me to ask Sung a few questions. I moved her focus on me going out to Sung as Sung is now studying on aviation under MAS.
I guess I have to go now. My mum wants to use the computer. I should be on my way to do my homeworks and do a little bit of studying.
Bye bye, Take care

School

Wednesday, January 05, 2005
Normal schooling days are back to normal. Yesterday, I finally heard my alarm clock ringing. Woke up and got ready for the first day of school. My sister and brother also had to wake up early. I only reached school at 6.50am which early compared to years ago where I would only reach school at exactly 7.10am.
My sister went back to Singapore yesterday. Too bad I couldn't send her off at the airport. Had to go to school. Not that we did much but only go for assembly, registration and Muet. 10 students from L6C were suppose to be in our class but on the last period, Pn. Nik came in to say that the L6C Physics students will only join us for Physics. Other than that they will be together with their own class.
Our class were really full. I didn't mind Albern. He's cool and funny. Too bad he had to go back to C class. Now Bernard sits next to me but he moved in front to sit with his darling, Jennifer. :p
I told Bernard that if Gayder sits next to me, I'll sue Bernard's ass off. Not literally though. Fadzilla sits next to the left of me. She's a very sweet girl whom I've never seen in a bad mood before. Very polite when compared to me. :p
It is so hard for me to pay attention especially when its past 9 am. My eyes will be too heavy for me. Guess I'm still not used to waking up too early in the morning. Still in the holiday mood. Crazy me. Need to get back to reality. Too much fun can kill a person too.
Nothing much has happen in the past few days. Nothing interesting so to speak. I guess I'm going to do my homework and study now. This is the shortest I've ever done. Don't be surprise if there isn't any new posting by me. I won't be going through anything interesting yet. Blame it on school.
I want to go see my teddy now. Miss him but at least I left him with lots of friends like chick, rabbit and dog. My bed now has turned into an animal farm. Hahaha.. I have lots of animals keeping me company when I'm bored.
Bye bye, Take care
Sincerely, yomI

Car Wash

Monday, January 03, 2005
Yesh.. yet another car wash. The teachers should now be very scared of us students trying to suck money out of them by now. Well, it has only been one month in school and I am fresh out of cold hard cash due to paying for tonnes of things. I have how many shirts that I am suppose to pay for. Membership fees to be paid again and talk about sucking money, something or someone has been really sucking my money dry.
A lot of us are really wondering where all the money we paid for last year went. It wasn't a small amount when it comes to students who are not earning money yet. I'm beginning to think that money is just going to be stored up and we will never see it again. *sniff sniff* Money don't drop from the sky that's what your parents will always say to you. If money fell from the sky then everyone will be living an easy life.
We paid a sum of money each last year and they have been telling us it is a sum of money which is going to be used in future for us to make more money but all this while they have just been asking money and more money from us. Buy this, buy that. The latest one is buy can drinks to sell for Sports Day. If you ask me, as we say in Hokkien "Chiak ki, chiak lok, chiak kaki" It sounds better to explain it in Hokkien. In english, it would mean "We are going about and in the end we are just eating ourselves".
Most of us were wondering why is it that they are demanding so much out of us when we have already paid a sum of money which if you ask me in total in the fund should be more than RM1000. Why is it staying in the fund? Why not use it to buy the can drinks and in the end finally using the money? What is the money saved up for? They have been telling us that the money will be used to make more money such as buying things and selling it on Sports Day. So what ever happen to that? It goes to show that they are not even keeping their words and making us pay. The school is really something, huh? Making money out of us students.
Our 'asshole' has a plan to have a trip for all prefects at the end of the year. Yeah, right dude. I bet when that time comes they will still say we are short of money and we will have to fork out more money for the trip. I might as well just organize it myself and invite a few friends who are interested to join. I am sure they wouldn't mind to share to pay for the expenses. That reminds me, I shall have a crazy reunion after all the stressing SPM and STPM exams. It can just be a simple makan or a trip. Everyone shall have fun but lets not look too far yet. Chinese New Year is just round the corner. We shall all play fireworks, eat oranges, drink and gamble!!~! Hahaha.. I would want to visit lots of houses this year. Big friends, small friends, new friends, old friends, teachers and more... you all must watch out because I'll be crashing by your house in search for cookies, cakes and a drink plus oranges too! :p
Now I really wish I can drive. Hm.. Nevermind.. A few of you promised me that when you get your licence you will be me out to drink. I will do the same if I ever get to drive a car. :p Maybe ten years from now? We all must keep in touch and always be updated. There are things called house phones, handphones, pagers, snail mail, e-mail, instant messaging, chatting, and etc. We must make full use of what technology has to offer. They are designed to make our life easier. Imagine one day we ran out of electricity? Will we be able to work as usual? Will we be able to revert back to the traditional ways of living? I only wonder~
Don't think of negative things too much it will only suck you dry to your bones. Think happy thoughts. Happy~ Happy~ I sound like a gone case. Crack in the head. Hahaha.. Be happy that's the one thing I always have in mind. Well, at least try to be happy. Sure there are times when things seem to point down the hill but there are also times when everything is pointing uphill and those are the memories you should always keep in mind. When you feel down, think of things which makes you happy which makes you smile. I am sure it will wipe that black, gloomy face off.
Oh yes, car wash. I ran away so far from my topic. Well, I had wrote a letter to inform that David and I wouldn't be able to help for the car wash because we had Physics test but both of us after the test went to help out. I did help out a little with jet spraying and soaping the car. The sun was scrouching hot! I totally forgotten that I have a prefect shirt and I didn't wear it. I only remembered when I saw most of the prefect wearing it. Its a black shirt! Under the sun, you are just baking yourself is you are wearing a black shirt.I pitied those who spent hours under the sun washing the cars. When I arrived there after my test, Adrian and Feli was already telling me of the most recent happenings. Adrian is so funny. We all had a good laugh after they finish telling me and Adrian always seem to have a joke under his sleeve. I wonder who made Jason in-charged of the jet spray. I think he is 'dangerous' with that thing. AheM!! :p Hahhaha.. Luckily he didn't shoot water at me. At least not directly or intentionally. His face is so innocent, I doubt that he can do any harm to me. *wink* *wink* Gerard on the other hand, he did shoot water at me. He was on the other side of the car and he didn't realize that the water was showering directly at me at the other end of the car. Luckily no damage done. Hahaha..
After all that car washing, Feli, Jason, Gerard and I went off to McDonald to have lunch. Gerard the macho guy ordered two double cheese burger. He actually finished both on the spot. Jason had a Big-Mac while I had ONLY one double cheese burger and Feli had a Quater Pounder. Gerard was looking at the year printed on the burger wraps. It was stated 1996 and he said "Eee.. the paper is so old." Then Jason and Feli started checking every single printing for the year which is was printed. It was funny. After finishing our burgers, Jason wanted to get an ice-cream and I told him to help me get one too. He ate finish his ice-cream while I was only half way through mine. Some more his ice-cream was a large while mine small. Darn, he made me looked like a snail. Guess what, I had 7 ice-creams this week. I had an extra after church earlier on. Crazy me. Hahaha.. I shall become the Queen of Ice-Cream!! *imagining* Hm.. maybe not! HAaha..
I was the last to finish. Darn... I must be so slow~ Feli sent us back to school and I was off to my Rover meeting but before that I had to find the key to the Scout's Den so that Jason could take out his jey spray which he left it inside earlier on. He was commenting on why I walked one round, up the stairs and then down. I was looking for people who had the key~ In the end, he said just wait here they are sure to come back. Sure enough after a few minutes the scouts came down and opened the door. Gerard came down later then we did cause he forgotten the hose in Feli's car. We kept reminding him of his vacuum in the boot but the hose in the back seat he forgotten. :p
After that I left them both to go for the meeting. Julie was there. Hm.. well.. meeting.. talked bout plans for next few weeks and months. Meeting ended and we watched the scouts marching. Hilarious! Half an hour later, Hazwan sent me and Jo Ann home. It was nice of him. All in all I had a very tiring day but at least it was a bit fun. Hahaha.. Filled with laughter and jokes plus crazy talk. I am quite happy today. Be nice to your siblings, Ok? If they are not nice to you, you also be not nice to them. Fight fire with fire! Then may the best one win! What am I saying?? Just be nice and considerate. Siblings are the closest people you have next to your parents.
I go now, Bye bye
Love, NaomI

First Day of A Whole New Year

Sunday, January 02, 2005
Well, I better not say what time I woke up today but I spent half the day shopping with my mum and sister in the city. Guess who I met again, Azelea. It seems like we have fate to meet around the city. Hahaha.. It was just one week ago that I met her in Sarawak Plaza shopping. We didn't buy much but the amount spent on those items were expensive. Its expensive just stepping out of the house if you're not working and making your own money. :) Now is just about a good time to go shopping as there sale going around.
We were out shopping for about 5 hours and only got home by 6.30pm. First thing on arriving home, computer. I gotta kick that habit out of me. Its really bad like I nothing better to do at home. Another habit I should kick out is speaking bad English for example Singlish. Blame it on Phua Chu Kang. I learnt it from him. Haaha.. I feel odd saying it nowadays as my sister doesn't speak Singlish anymore and some friends who are back on holiday. They speak perfect English. I feel so ashame of myself with all the 'lar', 'le', 'liaw', 'eh', 'mah' and etc. Most of you should know what I'm talking about. Try to ask yourself how often do you use those words at the end of your sentences. When I first got to Singapore, my sister was horrified to hear my English. She told me to get rid of it. Its really hard to kick the habit. Its like I don't even realize I'm saying it. It just comes out so easily. My New Year resolution, kick the habit of speaking Singlish out. :)
Anyways, I was online until 7.30pm when my sister rushed me to get ready to go out with Paul. He's a friend of my brother whom my sister and I met online. Lucky I was ready before Paul came expect when he came I was rushing to get out of the house hoping my dad wouldn't see us leaving the house but I think he saw me. *Bluek* :P
So we went to famous Bing! that everyone has been talking about. Everytime my friends and I decide to go there, the place is always full. The three of us were among the early birds. My sister ordered for me a Vanilla Latte and she got herself a Melroses Tea. She also ordered Carrot Cake. The carrot was nice. The taste wasn't too sweet nor too blunt. The top layer of icing was done very well. Paul had Cafe Latte if I was not mistaken. For the first half an hour or so, I was keeping quiet and looking at my latte most of the time. Didn't know what to say. :p My sister and Paul chatted away while I listen. Its always good to listen.
After awhile I joined in the conversation. A few of my ex-schoolmate walked in but only one who actually waved and smiled at me. The rest acted like they didn't know me or my sister who used to teach them Add Maths in Secondary school but that's okay by me. I can just treat em' the same way. :) No hard feelings. As it got later in the night, more and more people just start pouring in and the noise grew with people laughing out loud and talking really loudly.
Then Alex showed up. He sat with us and from then onwards we just talked and talked though he was turning page after page of a magazine. My sister met Melissa, her ex-classmate and she left me to go sit with her friend. So it was Paul, Alex and me. We talked bout a lot of things from fashion trends of gals and guys to computers. When it reached computers, I was in a big blur. I know how to use the computer but about the database or the software things don't look at me. I know nothing about those.
I thought we were going back home early but we stayed on since my sister was having a good time catching up with her friend. After her friends left Bing! for SOHO, my sister came back to sit with us and we realized that it was almost 11pm. So we left the place. It was nice of Paul to stop by 'Open Air' before sending us home to buy 'White Lady', 'Special' and 'Sio Bee'. Yummy!! When we got home, my mum was the only one awake. My mum reheat dinner for us since we left the house without dinner. We had dinner at 12.30am if I'm not mistaken. Luckily I didn't get gastric. I guess the carrot cake saved my tummy. Its a sin to eat until you feel like bursting cause that's what I did. Its been 2 hours since I ate and my tummy still feels full. I'm bound to have gastric when I get up. :P I know my tummy to well. Haha..
Well, what a way to start my New Year, yeah? It was fun. Anyways, I'm a dead gal on Monday when I get to school. Don't be surprise if I walk around with a blur face and sleepy eyes. :P
Gotta go to bed now. I have to wake up really early tomorrow morning. :(

Sincerely, yomI

The End of 2004 & The Beginning of A New Year!

Saturday, January 01, 2005
Today being the last day of 2004 and in a few hours it'll be 2005, I'm sure going to miss the life I had in 2004. I don't have any plans for tonight to usher in the new year unless sitting at home is a plan. I'll most probably be on the computer or on the phone tonight. Maybe I'll just watch a movie. Better still, I'll study?? Talk about studying, next week will be the end of my happy-go-lucky days. School re-opens. I will be on prefect duty and having to put up with annoying people in my class which just doubled. :(
Well, just a brief review of how I went through 2004 :
Long holiday (6 months) which made my brain rusty and unused. Then there was form 6. A whole new environment to me since I was in an all girl school for many years. It was a good change for me though. I have all my friends there. Well, at least not all of my friends but most of them who are really close to me. I have no problem making new friends but my only trouble in school is understanding what Mr. Chong and Pn. June is teaching. They give me a huge headaches.
The Rover Scouts is great. I get to do all the real outdoor activities. With Bernard being the President, it is just pure fun especially since Bernard is funny and cool. Most of my friends now have their own transportation and we can just go anywhere we want to go for example Blue Lake, Fairy Cave, Mount Singai, Mount Santubong and many more. I learnt a lot from all this experiences.I got to stay overnight at Camp Permai without my parents and I slept out on the road with 16 others on our hiking test. It was a crazy thing to hike 40km but it was something I would remember. I travelled alone for the very first time to Singapore. Believe me flying is not my thing but I got through it. It is scary to travel alone though. Besides that I met a really nice and cool teacher, Pn. Lye. She may be my teacher but she's cool and fun to talk to.
Since I've done so much in 2004, I hope to do a lot more in 2005 despite me having to sit for STPM. I only hope to do well and get through with it but from then onwards everything I know to be my life would change. *sniff* Life as they always say is ever changing. Friends will start to leave Kuching to study abroad and I will have to find my own way around my life, meeting new faces, new places or maybe even new races.
So reflect on how 2004 just fly past and think of what will you do in 2005. I wish the best of luck to everyone in this coming New Year and have a list of your New Year resolution ready. Make sure everything in your list in done by the end of year 2005! Hahaha.. Let's all drink to a whole new year!! Cheers everyone!! I wish we Rovers had something on tonight, I'm sure we would really celebrate it like nuts. Hahaha..
That's all for now.
Take care and Happy New Year!
Love lots, yomI
