MJ Party

In conjunction with the screening of Michael Jackson: This Is It, Silhouette had an MJ party. I remembered I was rushing mad that day. I only had 2 hours sleep. Presentation in the morning and an assignment due on the same day. It was a very long day but the day ended on a sweet note. =) Always make it a fun night out, even if something goes way wrong.. turn it around when you have the chance! =P Enjoy the pictures, courtesy of Fahriee!!

Level Up Fitness

By now, you all must know that Level Up Fitness is owned by Kenny of kennysia.com but if you don't.. fret not, now you do! =) Level Up Fitness had their roadshow at the Spring on the same weekend when the Spring Ambassador Hunt was having the audition sessions. Once awhile, he came over to have a chat and even joined in the fun of auditioning.

A week before the official launching of the place, Kenny organized a bloggers preview for bloggers to do what they do best. LoL! Ok, bite me. I rarely read his blog so I didn't know about it til he told me about it. This is how lost yomi is in the blogosphere. LoL! What to do, I run with no crowd. Solo, baby! Sorta like my relationship status! Hahaha!!!

Fine! Enough with the boringness of being solo. Haha! Lots of familiar faces at the bloggers preview though. Running solo does not mean having to be a stranger. =P

We were all given a 1-month free membership subscription to try the gym out. I have yet to start. Been trying to find a good day to start but... apparently too many things keep coming up. Will definitely get there... one day. LoL! One day!

I feel like Mr. Bean

Ok, so most of you would know if you read my twitter or plurk or even my facebook.... Went for a day trip to Bako. Boat got stuck in the middle of no where due to the low tide. So we sat in the boat for say 45 mins? And the Sun was so nice up there. Practically oven baked me! Brown and chrispy, ready to be served on the table for your tasting! My face and neck is recognizable but my arms! Mutilated beyond recognition! It still stings and I can still feel my arms emitting heat!! I know Aloe Vera! But where can I get Aloe Vera at 2.15am??? I spent the last 4 hours playing with honey and cling wraps.

April told me to slap on some honey. Ok.. not slap! *imma jump to the moon if my arms get slap now* So, the first thing I did was put honey. Rub it on my arms. After awhile, I realized I knew that I had to always check for the honey dripping off my arms and I licked it! Then it hit me, "DEJAVU!" I've done this before, no? Or else how would I know that the honey would accumulate and start dripping also I spread it evenly?? Even licking the honey seemed damn familiar.... Scary!!

After 2 hours of having to occasionally lick myself. April said, "Cling wrappers!" So I really did. I really feel like a cartoon after! Like like.. Mr. Bean!! One of those crazy things that makes no sense but still Mr. Bean does it.... I couldn't really move. I guess that is how women who go for SLIM WRAPS feel, aye? Wrapped in cling wraps!! LoL!! The things I do when I'm really bored. Someone.. please give me a paying job. LoL!

Dinner ended early. So I went to Silhouette to meet Pril & PK. Didn't realize my ex-senior at Ernst & Young was also there to celebrate his birthday. =) What I love about Silhouette is that it is not rowdy and I get to treat it like my own private bar. Just sit and chill, no one bugs you. LoL!

Somehow people have this notion that clubbing means rowdy, loud music, too much booze..... you should try clubbing with me and you'll see how different me and group have fun. Loud music yes, booze depending on wat the occasion is. But mostly we love each other's company that we just sit and chill. =)

the Spring Ambassador Hunt

awhile back, i wrote about the Spring Ambassador Hunt. the auditions were held for 3 days. was there to help promote it. LoL! after those 3 days at the Spring, i said i won't go back to Spring for at least 2 weeks. obviously that didnt happen! LoL! was right back there 3 days later. LoL! the Spring is inevitable!! everything is just there!

Hennessy Artistry: The Global Art of Mixing

I know.. damn old news! All way back to October!! Seriously, how fast time flies!!!! While I was in KL for my one week break, I managed to get an invite to H-Artistry thanks to Josh! He's da man! It was held at Quattro Club, Avenue K, right opposite of KLCC. The best part was getting to meet the artists in person during the press conference! LoL!

The press conference was held a day before the party itself. We get to meet em in person!! There was Boys Like Girls, Lenka, Paul Freeman and Hsiao Hung Jen. I have no idea who Paul Freeman is and Hsiao Hung Jen though. LoL! Hack, I didn't know most people at the press conference! Of course, there was Josh, Jason & Suet Mei. Met them during my last trip in July at Zouk.

This time round, I was introduced to Mel, Steph and Kaze. They were fun! We practically exchanged jokes! LoL! Kaze was so totally checking out the emcee!! Owen Yap who is like mixed Korean and lived in Korea before.. speaks the language too! I had a great time during the press conference and the party itself! Free flow of Hennessy, international artists... what's not to love? LoL! But of course, the clubbing feeling is damn different cause your own group of friends are not around. Make new friends lo... LoL!

Holidays are here to stay...........

Okie.. I know.. time to update da blog. Yes.. yes... will get down to it. That is if I sit at home often enough to do it. LoL! Sorry but I really prefer to be out and about doing something. Imma start with catching up with all my friends. Yes, I know I've neglected some few. Sorry! And to add to that, everyone is back!!! My kids are back, my ex-colleagues are back even my brother will be back soon! Weeee~ Maybe that is why I love December. Everyone is back. =) Other than the fact, Christmas is in December too! LoL! As far as I know, everything nice happens in December. =)

I guess the first thing I should do is clear my bedroom!! I've got all my notes everywhere on the floor and the bed! Can't throw em out just yet. Will have to keep em nicely just in case.... LoL! Then gotta clean up the house a bit, VIP guest coming to stay. My future sister-in-law. LoL! I'm so sure my brother is gonna marry her! They are pushing 5 years already and they still talk on the phone every night! Talk about talking!!! Wash the car, make my mum happy, when I'm done with all the home stuff... then I'll head out!

Imma prolly go to Level Up. Yes, finally! I know! Even Kenny was like.. "you can study at Level Up what...." too many distractions, how to workout and study in peace?? LoL! But gym will have to wait til next week! So til then, imma find gym kaki! LoL! Then maybe find a part-time job for fun and also look for a permanent job to start after CNY. Mmmm.. hehe! Gimme some time to rest..

I guess I can kiss my sleep goodbye. I only had 2 hours sleep today and I'm feeling the after effects. My muscles are feeling weak..... almost like melting. How am I gonna survive til tonight??? LoL! Okie! Time to go fulfil the first on my list of things to do! Will update soon! Tata!!

Fear of the Last Paper

I am scared! I am so scared of my paper tomorrow to the point I just keep falling asleep while studying! I am far from being prepared. I really don't know what to do now. Current Issues in Accounting... why does it have to be so dry? There's nothing in it that I like. Why why why??? Now, I could really use a hug. Am feeling so down now. Everyone is expecting me to finish everything this semester and get a job next year. I'm really doubting myself now if I can actually graduate. It does not help that everyone else who is taking the same paper is doubting themselves too. FB is bad when you have your coursemates going, "I give up, I'll see you guys back in Uni next semester." I actually feel the same way. Its torturous! I wanna graduate but this last paper is killing me softly.

15 hours to go. How much more can I try to absorb? Dude! You with the photographic memory! Seriously, can I eat your brain now????? I'm desperate! Hahahhaaa! I guess there's nothing much left to do but to put in 110% and pray. Prayers are strong stuff!
